That Stephen Miller tweet claims the BBB will reduce the deficit. How so?

Yes I think any rate cuts right now are premature
Same thing was said before the last cuts and yet inflation has plummeted
Even Powell admitted he was Too Late

But you said he should vote according to how his constituents want him to vote. And you want to talk about someone being wishy washy. Take a look in the mirror, cuck. His constituents weren't even an OPTION.

How is criticizing Trump's Biden-level spending "TDS" exactly?
Correct.

Big bills should not be the norm.
Short (3-4 page) bills on one item. Written in language that a 6th grader would understand. Congressmen and Senators should have to work far more hours. Like most Americans, they should put in 40 hours and have the weekends off. Not month long recesses. They could easily vote on 10 simple bills a day.
Problem is that would make it hard for these parasites' (politicians) to hide pork or spend money on things that taxpayers dont want. Like a lot of the stuff DOGE found.

Big bills also make it easier to include language agency heads can interpret and twist into what they want it to read. Take Social Security for example. If you want to fix it, First pay back anything that was taken from the SS trust to fund the government, with interest. Second, nobody that did not contribute to Social Security can get any benefits. If you want to give SS benefits to anyone else, thats fine,,,just don't call it Social Security. Call it something else and find the $$$ somewhere else.

Yep.
100%. Youre reading twitter posts written by interns and amateurs like you and trying to make sense of it.

KK, this bill is trash
No one expected Biden or the Dems to rein in spending but Trump ran on it and DOGE cuts. We have not ratified any DOGE cuts and are about to get inflationary money printing round 3.
I like the bill, wish there were more cuts though.
This depends on who you choose to believe. If you want to believe Johnson or if you want to believe the left wing media we know lies about everything.
And if not an outright lie they just omit important info like your WSJ article did. Then cried about promises not being kept when hes still cutting taxes for Seniors.

You really don't understand Trump at all, do you? He's all flash, no substance.

You think the BBB is good?
It's not great, but it's not the disaster it's being made out to be. It's mostly overly emotional people with no realistic expectations. The train of the US has been rumbling down the tracks at 60mph, but you people are complaining because the new engineer isn't able to stop the train in a quarter mile after the previous administration and congresses removed the brakes.
But continue your pursuit of perfection. I'm sure it'll end up great.
The question for all the people incessantly whining about the bill is: Why do you think these senators who had no problem signing CRs for years now have a problem with "not enough spending cuts?"
You're being played. Maybe one day more people will figure out this game the GOPe plays where they fight their own outsider president but happily go along with spending when a democrat is in charge, but I doubt it. Logic has taken a back seat to emotions in this country. Even with Trump's first term as evidence, few people seem to be able to figure this out.
The worst part is that when we get a worse bill, the idiots will still continue to blame Trump instead of the corrupt politicians responsible for the budget who are only beholden to their lobbyist patrons.
