I pulled the lever for Jackson twice.

Nothing against Jones and I certainly would have backed voted for him in the general.

I have been wrong before but Jackson wealth and not being a politician leads me to believe he is going to govern like trump.

He doesn’t have to be doing this unless he felt an extreme calling that GA is on the wrong track and as a resident I feel that way.

So, how should we feel about Jackson’s ability to win independents conpared to Jones? I’ve heard people say Jones was better in that area, but that never sat well with me. By my way of thinking, Jackson exceeds in that area, especially in the metro areas with some middle of the road folksthat saw Jones as part of the good ole boy network.

How many Democrats crossed over to vote in the runoff?

Will Rick Jackson get rid of your Dominion voting machines and clean up Fulton County voting issues.

If he's planning to do that he better keep it to himself until after the election. Otherwise Dominion will make sure he doesn't win.

You can't cross over and vote in the runoff in Georgia. You can only vote for the party you voted for in the initial election so any demoRat trying to do that would've been told no.

Trump likes Jackson as well.. he endorsed Burt before Jackson got into the race so it's not really a true Trump loss like every kdy is claiming

Did not know that. Thanks! Considering it was Georgia, I wasn't taking anything for granted.

Here's an answer to your question:

Jackson carried Metro Atlanta, aside from the South/SE metro counties where Jones's base is centered snd where Jones himself is from

There is so much going on on that screen.

Did you make your turn, while on the phone and took a screen grab of a election map.

Most of all at least your phone is charged. How many times we ridicule people for posting a screen shot and their phone battery is nearly dead.

Funny you point that out about his stomping ground, because the reason I voted for Jackson in the main primary was based solely on unfavorable comments about Jones by 3 reliable people from that area who know him.

Burt Jones just needed a few more seconds on the clock and he could've won

The candidate who came across as the angriest and the nuttiest won the primary. Acting angry and nutty works way better in primaries than it does in general elections. Republican primary voters may have just handed the governors mansion to Democrats.

57 percent of people who voted in the primary took a Democrat ballot and 42 percent took a Republican ballot. The Republicans already were behind the 8 ball in the governors election, and then they chose the guy who looks angry and scary.

This is going to be a tight race against Qween Keisha

And it's gonna come down to money and Jones doesn't have the war chest to go against Keisha and all the outside cash that's gonna flood her campaign.

Anecdotal but we have a lake house on Jackson. My wife is in a Butts/Jasper County Facebook group and she said no one seemed to have anything good to say about Jones in there.

Not shocking at all. Trump is the kiss of death here. His record is abysmal.
