Depends where.

If he would pull votes for Trump in NY, Ill. and CA, it's irrelevant.

If he would pull votes from Biden in Louisiana, Mississippi or Arkansas, again, irrelevant.

If he pulls votes from Biden in PA, VA and AZ, that could be a big fricking deal.

He's a fricking Democrat.

Once in office he would do Democrat things...Screw that.

Any Republican who cannot see that hasn't been paying attention.

What's your issue with the WSJ when it comes to polling? Do you honestly believe they fabricate these numbers

He's in the Honeymoon phase of his Presidential campaign.

Once the actual campaign starts, he will be exposed as the raging Leftist he really is.

Having one or two sensible positions doesn't erase the majority of the insanity he supports.

Not sure how this is really possible. Feel a lot like the “false red wave” conditioning we received the last few cycles.

Here is where Trump being a total egotistical arse comes back to get him. To many who are not deep in policy, RFK will seem logical and stable. Many will choose him over Trump on personality alone, and it is 100% Trump's fault.

I agree with you, and also believe those who typically vote R are much more inclined to principle based voting.

But this guy is a democrat, they just don’t want to run him. If he were to take more R votes than Ds this election, I don’t see how the Ds are ever unseated.

Guy even sounds crazy. No way he gets any traction unless conservatives keep promoting him.

Were you alive during the Clinton and or Obama years?

Trump has done NOTHING uniquely bad, it's just idiots now sit obsessively in front of Media devices and are brainwashed into believing he's something he's not.

Sharp guy. He’d still be appointing liberals to judgeships and that’s one of my main sticking points with him.

The RFK love is like Tulsi Gabbard love, just cause you agree with them on an issue doesn't mean they aren't lefties.

It doesn’t add up. When you see his stance on most issues he’s definitely liberal.

The key though is not how many votes he’d take overall, but how many would he take in the toss up states and where would they come from.

So the WSJ poll is essentially saying that 79% of democrats are happy with senile Joe and would vote for him over RFK? That logic doesn't add up. Most of the lefties are over Joe, but don't want to vote for Trump. Conservatives aren't going to give up their conservative stances because RFK at least states his position clearly without muttering all his words and shitting himself (even if it is illogical most of the time).

Because so many within the GOP who support Trump have so little appreciation for the fact that about 1/3 of the party have an unfavorable view of him and believe he is a cancer to the party.

Count me among them. My personal distaste for him aside, though, I am firmly convinced that him being the candidate is a death sentence for 2024. There is simply no way he will win the general. There is VERY little persuadable middle available to him, and the opposition is close to 50% and largely unshakeable.

I find him obnoxious and childish, but that in and of itself would not keep me from voting for him. What so few seem to understand, though, is that MANY, MANY people WILL refuse to vote for him for that reason. It doesn't matter what I think, so don't come at me with "Mean tweets hurt your feelings?" That's a child's answer that just tells me you don't understand the problem.

There is NO pathway to the White House for this dude!!
He is a spoiler for 2028. This is his role!!! His only role!! He will take votes away from Trump, especially in the "rust belt"and usher in 4 more years of Biden. Then in 2028 he will tell democrats...I am the one that saved you from the orange man!!!Better wake up to whats going on...the republic is on the line.

He's been heavily promoted by right wing media to the audience of right wing media. To the left, he is a loon.

He’ll take the Gary Johnson vote and some democrat vote. Not a significant portion of republicans would vote for him.
