I am constantly amazed at how stupid Politicians think their constituents are. Do this bitch not realize that anyone with a brain can see the difference here?

It’s just sick. He just filibustered the whole time because he knows Bobby well enough that he would destroy him if he got a sentence in edgewise.

these politicians are bought by big pharma. they are compromised.

RFK should have the notes of who took what money from pharma and read them every time one of these corrupt idiots gets on the mic.

Based on recent data, several politicians have been noted for receiving significant donations from the pharmaceutical industry. Here's a summary:

Joe Biden has been reported as one of the top recipients, with contributions amounting to around $9 million over various years.
Kamala Harris has also received substantial donations, with figures cited around $6.1 million to $4.1 million from pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Mitch McConnell has received notable contributions, with more than $715,000 from pharmaceutical companies between 2020-2024.
Lindsey Graham has received over $2.2 million from health professionals during the same period.
Marsha Blackburn is among the top Republican recipients, with $316,656 in the last year reported.
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have also been significant recipients in past analyses, with amounts ranging from $5.9 million to $4.5 million.

On the legislative side, members of Congress have also received considerable sums:

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada was highlighted as receiving nearly $460,000 over five years among Democrats on certain committees.
Sen. Ron Wyden from Oregon received $78,500 from pharmaceutical company PACs.

Regarding broader patterns:

The pharmaceutical industry's donations have been spread across both parties, though historically, there's been a slight preference for Republicans. However, in recent cycles, Democrats have sometimes received more.

Contributions often target members of key committees dealing with health legislation, like the Senate Finance Committee or the House Energy and Commerce Committee

Did Democrats ask Democrat nominees: "Do you intend to follow your conscience or do what the president desires?"
