It matters for president. It does not matter for Senate or House members. All they are is a vote. Democrats know this and will vote D no matter who it is. And they win.

Republicans take their ball and go home like petulant children and we lose. Who the frick cares if Walker 25 years ago made a woman have an abortion? People make mistakes. The question is will he vote against abortion? Because Warnock 100% won’t. If you prefer MAGA candidates great, but stop staying home if a GOPe is the primary winner. 90% conservative voter is better than 100% democrat voter. Moderate republicans stop staying home because a maga candidate won the primary. You still support mostly conservative causes and that candidate will vote that way. A moderate democrat doesn’t exist.

Democrats are loving this division and the media is fueling it and you idiots are swallowing it hook line and sinker all while Democrats win and continue to destroy this country. I hope you enjoy your bugs in 2030

Are you talking about republican voters or the leadership?

Again, many voters don't feel this way. If the customer says they want something else, maybe give them what they want, rather than telling them that they are wrong?

And I agree with you. I would vote for any R. But some people won't. So give them what they want.

True. We should nominate a Romney or a Bush. Those guys would win.

Most don't follow politics closely and are easily deceived by the legacy media. They love a nice RINO that appears all prim and proper and says all the right things.

Prime example is that Pa. voted for John Fetterman.

But La Republicans would rather have John Bel Edwards than Vitter.

After having to vote for crappy candidates year after year in the Republican Party and being told these were the best options, any republican not voting for a conservative because the option isn’t the most articulate candidate or sends mean tweets, can go F themselves.

I’ve had to hold my nose on Mittens, McCain, and the like. And, see where those “qualified” candidates got us.

Both. And gop leadership who refuses to support all gop candidates need to primaried and replaced by the voters soon as possible. That shite is unacceptable

You can’t though. Every state and district has maga R voters and moderate R voters. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t no matter the candidate

Maga voters will still vote for the moderate R candidate.

Many moderate voters wont vote for the Maga candidate.

That's the difference.

A lot more will over a Dem candidate. Can't say the same for moderate voters.

Elon musk could have been the candidate, if the shumer-McConnell cartel didn’t want him in, the dem votes would have been there to keep him out. Kemp, they can control, the fault doesn’t lie with voters

Check out the other thread about what the Senate and house passed with just a handful of turncoats. Your problem is you lump the legislative and executive branch into one. They are separate and equally destructive.

I’m not sure about that. I see an awful lot of “burn it all down” types here if the candidate isn’t Trump or a MAGA candidate.

Depends on where the election is taking place. But I think the areas in play are shrinking.

They say that on here, but at the end of the day they will vote for the R over the D.

Or a DeSantis. There are other options...

Trump already lost to Biden once, and would probably lose to Biden again.

So how did Kemp win? Didn't Trump spend a year trashing Kemp? Did Kemp do worse than Walker in super red areas? No.

I will enjoy your eyes being opened a small bit as DeSantis begins his campaign.
