How come the fed gov never gave money to my kids T-ball program? Those kids were just in it for the joy, too? I mean its not like either program was awarding actual accomplishments or anything?

You have no idea how much abuse and waste of taxpayer money in the name of Special Olympics takes place.
Cutting a budget for them, if that is in fact what is happening, is not a bad thing. I bet you're one that takes advantage of the kids so you can get your Gov handout.

There's a lot of Division l colleges with struggling sports programs that would beg to differ. I mean we all know that an overwhelming number of college athletes have no interest in an education. They are just using college as a stepping stone to a future sports career.

Should be no surprise they got some serious blowback from the Dems: "Trump cuts funding to special need kids!"
Special Olympics was a Democrat pet project founded by one the Kennedy sisters. She felt bad after Joe lobotomized and institutionalized one of their siblings.
