John Ossoff threw out a terrible accusation concerning Trump and Natalie Harp. It's all planned as he plots his path to run for the presidency. And he is able to gut punch and there is nothing Trump can really do about it.

At the same time the progressive press convulsed recently when it was reported that Hegseth was going to Iowa.

Though there are unspoken rules giving deference to the President until the time is right, it is time for the republicans interested to begin their exploratory moves. And in doing so, they attack the democrats (viciously). If they play nice and decide to wait until the third year they will be too late. So let RDS or Marco or others do things like going to Iowa or New Hampshire or South Carolina and start the discussion on how shitty the democrats are. The press will hyperventilate every time a new republican does this. It will make news. Who wants to let the democrats get a full year of gut punching Trump more before they step up?

The whole "we won't sink to their level" mentality has always led to weakness.
It's grit, strength, dedication, and willingness to draw + hold the line in the sand that is needed against the left these days.

Good thoughts, but you have to remember that the parties don't have the same targets. The Dems target Trump even though Trump is not on the ballot. The goal if to motivate Dem voters to turn out in the primaries and take power away from Trump in his last 2 years.
The GOP candidates in the primaries cannot attack a Dem president. They have to attack their specific opponent and those are going to be limited to the audience in their state.

That’s because the GOP candidates want to attack Trump as much as the Dems do, they just hold back because they know it will piss off their base. They don’t attack their dem opponents because either they fear the Streisand Effect legitimizing them or because they agree with them.

It is time to develop the next message. It is time now. Democrats are going to wreck havoc if they win both houses. There has to be a less than cordial counterpoint. We are in for years of battle with them. This is no longer the 90s, 2000s etc. Old politicians can't get it done. I'm an old guy and Republicans lack of fight frustrates the hell out of me.

If you're on the right side, your side is going to lose unless they show some fight. I thought Ossoff's statement was a gutter blow. And besides, these guys are supposed to assist in governing our nation. They don't. Yes, I have a seething hatred for politicians.

Why not let the democrats continue to focus their full attention on Trump? Let them whine & cry about his every word and action.

What exactly did Ossoff say? All I can find is:

"While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings, he golfs, and trades stocks. See, he doesn't want to do his job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar."

Is that it???

Look harder and add the name Natalie Harp to the search. I'm sorry I'm not laying out easy.

I'm not responding to anyone from DC. Your laziness disappoints me but probably considering your age, is expected.

Karl Rove convinced W that responding to Dem lies was beneath the dignity of the office of President. Save for Trump himself, the GOP are low energy cowards .

Republicans prefer to be the minority party because it gives them an excuse for not doing anything

When asked about Ossoff’s comment I think Trump referred to Ossoff as Pee-wee Herman. I really don’t think Trump cares.

Both comments were in poor taste, imo. But that’s what politicians do.

That is the quote. All of it. You telling me to find something worse (that doesn’t exist) gave away the game. Unless you’re really reaching with this….

From ChatGPT:

“What Ossoff said afterward

In a follow-up interview, Ossoff was asked about deliberately naming Harp. He characterized her—and other Trump aides—as part of a group that functions as Trump’s “security blanket to make him feel good about himself.”

Again, what did he say that was so bad? Be specific.

The GOP has a big weapon for the midterms but it's not something they can talk about...IT'S MONEY!!!!
The GOP has tons of money for the mid-terms. For the first time in the 20+ years since I signed up for DNC emails they are admitting they are broke and way behind the GOP. They have dropped their 'chip-in $20 today' tagline to begging for $7. The big corporations that used to give to both sides have dropped the Dems because corporations don't like communism.
The result will be in Nov. when GOP candidates in close races will get tons of money for TV ads while the Dems are gonna have to speak to small college crowds who like communism.
