Same thing with the treasurer.
I don’t care what people say, it doesn’t make sense. Unless there is cheating.
It absolutely makes sense, if you understand Arizona.
Arizona Republicans loved John McCain. Trump trashed McCain. Lots and lots of Arizona Republicans despise Trump and won't vote for him or one of his anointed candidates. That includes Lake and Masters. Sure, those voters may be RINOS. Some may be independents. But you don't win in Arizona without them.
Horne had held the same job from 2003 to 2011, so it shouldn't be surprising that moderates and independents who were happy with him before would vote for him. Same with the treasurer. She was an incumbent that voters were obviously happy with and felt no need to change.
Warnock got 130,000 more votes than Shamu did in Georgia. Moderates and independents don't always vote along straight party lines.

Looks to me like the Republicans picked the wrong candidate for Senator.
So a bunch of republicans will overwhelmingly vote for a superintendent and a treasurer, but not the senator or governor?
What makes you think they're all Republicans? There is such a thing as an independent.
And yeah, there are lots of Republicans in Arizona who hate Trump because he bashed McCain.
By the way...130,000 people in Georgia voted for Warnock but didn't vote for Shamu. Lots of people don't along straight party lines.

I do understand Arizona. I'm quite familiar with it. And you are clearly wrong. What now?

Clearly you don't, if you can't grasp the McCain dynamic and his supporters' hatred of Trump.
I'm "clearly" wrong??? So you think voters would vote out a treasurer they were happy with, in an office where party politics rarely overshadows competence on the job?

get ready to be kicked in the nuts
John Mccain received only 284,374 votes from his own party during the 2010 primaries. That's it. Kari Lake had FIVE TIMES that in this election. In fact, she SHATTERED, ABSOLUTELY SHATTERED turnout records with 1,247,859 (counted) votes
so you can take your obvious Mccain bullshite elsewhere

It’s hilarious to me that people here cannot fathom that <5% of voters split their tickets.

Running behind other R's is all the proof you need
So in other words you have no objective examples of him being a poor candidate other than highly questionable election returns from a state that has held returns for a week and that claims more people voted in the treasurers race than for Senate?
Got it.

McCain received 1.36M votes in his last election for senate in 2016 so not sure how lake shattered much of anything.

Independent votes were flipped after election day
Dims find new ways to cheat every time they get caught
Republicans cover it up for them

Masters really was a terrible candidate. Trump's most successful endorsement was Vance and even he ran way behind DeWine
And it still took Turtle dumping millions in because Trump's endorsement is just words with no campaign support.
Vance got about 30 seconds on the mic at his Trump rally.
