Golden opportunity to show how hypocritical it is to go after the 2nd amendment and release a gun runner, but they'll frick it up like they always do.

They need to point out that US policy with terrorists has been not to negotiate because it encourages the terrorists to do it again. Putin, by the Dims own reckoning is a war criminal and terrorist in Ukraine. But the left is hypocritical so it won't bother them, but maybe somewhere some OMB independent will hear the message.

I don't think it was a good trade but the Republicans are going to have to lead with policy and ideas in 2023 or the next elections are going to be worse than 2022.

Actually yes she did because that is the law in Russia. Now you can argue that the law is extreme or even wrong and I would tend to agree with you. But according to the law in Russia she got a normal sentence. She wasn’t a political prisoner at all like some are saying. She is actually pretty fricking stupid because she has been going there for years to play ball, she knew what the laws were there and still broke them.
