It's all about owning your opposition. Baw probably has no idea about the issue....doesn't need to, probably with his base of support in GA 2.

He shut the whole thing down and I'll guarantee nobody even heard or cared to hear what Wayne Johnson was going to say......probably no one who was interested watched any longer than 5 minutes after he walked off, if that long.

I never got to hear his opinion on the controversial Republican plan to take away everybody's food.

I would vote for him if I could, that's for sure.

To me, the whole "awesomeness" thing is undercut by the fact that it was a clearly rehearsed and planned stunt. I'm just not sure why theatrics impresses people who are supposedly tired of fakeness/theatrics.

That said, I'd probably prefer that guy

Sure he planned it

Just like the other assists on the stage planned their answers

But he sounds, to me, like a legit Blu collar redneck. The kind of people we need respesentong the people. Not more garbage politicians

Yeah, sure it was, but we ask politicians/candidates to go against the status quo, stand against the machine. It was planned by him and his team (would love to see what that looks like ), but he still had to carry it out and do it.

I am grateful for someone doing that staged or not.

But yet, when a typical republican gets on stage, points with his thumb instead of finger, reads the rehearsed talking points even though it doesn't answer the question, pushes his family in front of the camera, wears attire to show you he is one of us, and has a perfect hushed "I'm going to be serious now" tone, it's "presidential."

This guy is more real than any of the politicians you support.

I'm leaning strongly towards voting for this guy, although I'm not sure he has a plan other than he's not your typical politician.
Whoever wins this runoff has a tough row to hoe beating incumbent Sanford Bishop (D) who has been the 2nd district Representative for over 30 years.
