Didn't see this

live stream

quote:

group of voters last month filed the challenge with the secretary of state’s office alleging that Greene helped facilitate the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol that disrupted Congress’ certification of Joe Biden’s presidential election victory. They say that violates a part of the 14th Amendment and makes her ineligible to run for reelection.

Greene says the law that the voters are using to challenge her eligibility is unconstitutional, and she filed a lawsuit asking a federal judge to prohibit state officials from enforcing it. U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg on Monday ruled that the challenge can proceed. Greene on Tuesday filed an appeal with the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

1/6 Committee was purely for this reason.

and frick Kinzinger and Cheney for signing on to it. Of course, since this would be used as a bludgeon against Trump supporters, they were all for it.

The fact she even has to spend time, energy, and money fighting this, is a clown show.

Can other voters start filing suits to prevent anyone who pushed the false "Russian Collusion" narrative from seeking reelection as well? Shouldn't they start?

She is in a deep red district, even if the courts screw her out of this, the replacement would be just as red. Think of her district as a microcosm of this board. It's really pointless for the left to even pursue this, politically. If anything, they need her there like the right needs AOC.

Looking forward to all of this #MuhInsurrection nonsense blowing up in the Dems'/RINOs' faces and getting disqualified from holding public office when it finally comes to light just how coordinated the real coup on Nov. 3, 2020 comes out.

I had it spelled differently, but google suggested I use the spelling above. Is that your issue?

This is the new tactic the left is employing to rob citizens of any representation in government.

They scream about voting rights, then pull this kind of stuff to ensure you only have one party to vote for.

I'm wondering if this is a test case to see if they can try to cause havoc with Republicans this fall or if someone jumped the gun on filing this now instead of waiting till the last minute and we will get a ruling that clears up the possibility of similar challenges in the fall.

The word you're looking for is "microcosm".

There is something called 'precedent.'

It is punishing someone they personally hate and a test case for doing this to a LOT of other candidates.

They aren’t winning this district anyway so doing this is no loss to them.

Doing this in a competitive district will galvanize the opposition.

Is this map up to date? Congress dot gov link

If so, I assure you there is not one speck of blue on that map.

This is horse shite. She’s done nothing wrong and Maxine waters, AOC, Ilhan, and Nancy Pelosi have said and done much worse than what they are accusing her of.
