He was such a turncoat poser POS

He was worse than Pence and Romney and that's real bad.

Most of you anti-Ronners on here don't have a fricking clue about how things are in Florida.

That's been painfully obvious for a couple of years.

One clown claimed he was a deep state plant, elected in 2018 just so he could one day challenge Trump.

It's weird. It's early lol. TBH not going to pay attention for the next 100 days as this is much more fun.

I suspect Gaetz is done as an elected official. If he didn't think his own district would be OK with whatever was in that report it's sure as hell not going to fly in the state as a whole.

Only thing I could find on him and CRT is that he opposed it. What am I missing?

You're only missing the lies and exaggerations. Byron does not support DEI or CRT. The "bots" are desperate to smear Byron for some reason and they settled on "a black man that still wants black history classes taught means he fully supports all CRT measures." It's an argument easily ignored by rational folks, because it is rather dumb logic.

The other thing hilarious about Suntan was he would latch onto some beard for his campaign. The last time he ran in '18 he had a socialite divorcee from down here in Palm Beach County. As soon as the votes were tallied she was gone.

They don’t want to believe it.

Ron is unbelievably popular here. Whoever he backs will be the next Governor and I can guarantee he won’t back Donalds or Gaetz.

DeSantis and Donalds were on the same team until Donalds endorsed Trump.

Why so divisive? Is this the only move DeSantis has-is to get his wife in behind him? The 6 week abortion ban will sink her.

It would be nice if DeSantis could assist with the JCS rot at DoD. Starting with the JAG exposure that covered Milley's butt. It would show extreme valor, and not just his next power move for a salary to keep Casey living in a Mansion.

Read this mans viewpoints on his X page regarding Milley's JAG and the rot at DoD/Pentagon

Personally, I'd like for The Donald to nominate Ron for SCOTUS if a seat opens up. He'd be great.

Politically, it'd remove any potential JD/RDS divisiveness in '28.

Has it occured to you that it's as simple as DeSantis thinks Donalds and Simpson are bad options and would lead to a backslide?

Exactly

RDS spent a lot of effort and political capital to get Florida back on track. He is not going to accept having some Jeb clone, go-along-to-get-along RINO throw his legacy away.

How could a strong MAGA black man backslide a 6 week abortion ban; and a legislature not on the same page as DeSantis with immigration?

DeSantis wants all illegals rounded up. Not just the criminal gang bangers, correct?

Anyone that is MAGA will win. I am not for nor against Donalds. He is needed in DC. But cut the crap that Fla crumbles unless someone DeSantis wants wins.

Why on earth would him taking a politcal appointment from the gov ever show valor. It cheaps the word. He will finish out two of the most successful terms as Gov. in the nation. He is far as I can tell keeping his future close to the chest.
If he was going to work for DJT I would think it would be known.
BDR has been in a party battle as the House is treating him like a lame duck with little power. They may be wanting to anoint next Gov. candidate thus the sudden wife running story. Who knows. Back to winning.

I'll default to you on Florida politics from now on.

Florida will fine under Donalds or Simpson and genuine MAGA champions like Joe Gruters
