I don’t hate Donalds. I did think his CRT attack on Ron was cowardly and pathetic. I think it had more to do with him not having a spine when asked to go out there as a token black DeSantis detractor than anything he really believes on the underlying topics.

Doesn't he go to. Trump rallies quite a bit? Trump seems to like him. Unless it's one of those, keep your enemies closer thing, I don't think Trump would support him like he has if he didn't think he was legit.
