Are we talking about the same Ukraine? The one who imprisons journalists that don’t think right, shut down opposing parties and makes corrupt elements of the U.S. government look like amateurs?
If so, I don’t really think we are losing much. We might as well just pile up $95 billion in front of the Washington Monument and set it on fire.

Can you imagine what almost 200 billion would do for national infrastructure and our coast? Not to mention the border.

I wholeheartedly agree. With the likely coming failure of social security I personally think we should allocate a portion of those SS taxes towards the ongoing Ukraine effort. This is a position I picked up listening to Lonald Weiler-Sledge’ podcasts lately. In a world without democracy in Eastern Europe, there won’t be a future to spend our SS saving in anyway.
