Every step of the admissions process has been designed to keep me and other individuals underrepresented in medicine, including Black and Latinx applicants, out of medical school.

Someone this f*cking stupid should never be allowed in college much less in any graduate school. It’s not harder on minorities. It’s harder on poor people whether you’re white, black, Hispanic, or from another f*cking planet.

Rich people pay tutors and other people to do all this sh!t for them. Poor people have to do it for themselves. It’s not like it’s f*cking rocket science though. It’s just a timely tedious process that you have to go through – you know, like going through the very simple steps of obtaining a state issued ID card.

So instead of everyone willingly giving up the many advances that have lead to us having the way of life we know today, they’ll just allow idiots to be in charge and ruin everything.

I want quality medical care. I could not care less about how diverse it is.

Christ, I don't trust a physician that doesn't have any common sense.. This really scares me.

Here are some of the most recent LSU med school classes...

I was told that this past year’s class is over 65% women.

It certainly would help Diversity if we were to remove all academic requirements to be a Medical Doctor and just choose our future Physicians purely on racial and gender criteria.

We should do that!

Minorities, on average, score lower on the MCAT due partly to socioeconomic disadvantage. Unlike most of their peers, minorities often don't have access to resources like expensive exam preparation courses that can cost up to $10,000.

sorry 'Tyler', but you don't need to buy a course to pass the MCAT and anyone paying $10,000 for one is probably too dumb to pass it anyways.

what you need to do is get a book, sit down, and learn the material properly and stop trying to find shortcuts.

My daughters class began with about 60% females. The percentage of white males was probably 15% of the class.

Dumbass.

It’s almost impossible to overestimate the role that the failing public school system has on the underperformance of minorities in situations like this.

Removing the MCAT won't help. He just can't get a competitive score and blames racism. Who the F*** would want him as a doctor?!

I don't want my pilots, doctors, mechanics... come to think of it, NO ONE... chosen or propped up by their race. And until the NBA and NFL enforce "equity" among their players, then I will know they don't believe in it either, and the same for those who want equity in medical schools but not the playing fields.

So would admitting aspiring doctors by a lottery. That would improve diversity way more.

Lol, I saw a genuine fricking proposal from a think tank that argued that undergrad admissions could be a random lottery to increase diversity. It made me laugh because it was so ridiculous.

Race-based affirmative action is soon going to be over. Just another 5 months to go before it's over.

White men are smart enough to stay away. They probably saw Eugene Gu on Twitter and figured that's what you ended up being after all that work.

Xavier fixing to open their own medical school. That should help take care of the diversity issue.

Isn't 45 a little late to become a doctor?

I get career changes occur in life but at 45, you're closer to retirement than early career.

By the time you're fully trained, you'll be 55.
