f you made any online or mail order catalog purchases of goods that were shipped from outside Louisiana, and the seller did not charge Louisiana sales tax, you are required to pay it with your income tax. It is 9% of the sale price. LINK

What would it matter? You are a law abiding citizen. You will abide by the law and tally what you have bought, and pay the tax. I am certain of it. I would doubt Chicken would allow a bunch of law breakers no better than wetback border jumpers to post on this board! Don't be ridiculous.

Sounds like I have found an honest right winger who was unaware of the Consumer Use Tax law in the past, and now that he is aware of it, feels like he must pay it because he is a law abider but is pissed about it.
Am I wrong?

I never said he hates *all* foreigners. He clearly loves Vladimir Putin.

So you don't know Rex?
I am not Rex.
But I do know a guy who did a lot of business with amazon, buying mispriced items on amazon and reselling (this was back in the day). He received a notice from the state that he owed consumer use tax, because to the state it looked like he was buying all the crap for his own use.
BTW, is it OK to cross the border illegally so long as you don't get caught?

Stuff like this...this is why people think you're borderline retarded.

Awesome!
Here is the link to the consumer use tax law in your state:
LINK
quote:
Consumer use tax must be paid by Colorado residents and businesses on purchases (items used for personal or business purposes, not resold) that did not include Colorado sales tax, such as those made over the Internet, by mail order, or by telephone. Consumer use tax is payable to the state by individuals and businesses when sales tax is due but has not been collected. Individuals and businesses have always been required to pay sales or use tax on taxable purchases from out-of-state vendors if the item is sold, leased, or delivered in Colorado for use, storage, distribution, or consumption in the state.
Colorado state use tax is the same rate as the sales tax. With proof of payment, sales tax paid to another state may be credited against state use tax due in Colorado for a particular item. Use tax is also collected by some local governments and special districts.
LIke I said, I am certain you will comply. To do otherwise would make you a criminal and you must be a law abiding citizen. Only liberals and Mexicans break the law.

Actually not all Protestants believe sins are equal. I certainly don't...though many uninformed do. It frustrates me when I encounter this mindset.
