George W. Bush is the President who started importing hundreds of thousands of third world Moslems as "refugees". Think of how insane that is - that after 9/11 his administration proactively went out and more than quintupled the intake from Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan, etc.

This shooting was a tragedy and entirely preventable. The Noor verdict was certainly justified on manslaughter and probably justified on third-degree murder, though the latter may have been a bit of a reach.
To be honest, the Minnesota PD was likely as much responsible for this death as was Noor. The MPD had two officers patrolling together at night with a combined experience of less than three years. Mohamed Noor was 21 months out of the academy, and his partner Matthew Harrity was a rookie. They both reacted poorly in a potentially stressful situation, and a woman died as a result.
Was their training adequate? Were they well-suited to the job, from a psychological perspective? Who knows, but I rather doubt that the ancestry of either officer (one Somali and one Irish) was as much of a factor in the shooting as their lack of experience.

Hopefully, this tragedy has caused the MPD to review its staffing policies. It just makes no sense to have two newbs out on the street together, especially at night.

There’s no way that more than half of the population is mentally challenged. There are likely serious flaws in the testing methodology or the assumptions behind them.
