They were covering this last week when I tuned in for the Jesse Smollett verdict. It was all Kim Porter. I was a bit surprised, to be honest.

I think to show that she should have known the difference between grabbing her taser and the pistol. However, even if she had meant to grab the pistol after watching the video it seems like a good shot. This entire thing is because she is white and shot a black man even though it looks to be justified based on what was going on.

yeah... finally the prosecution gets a witness to point out the differences between the feel of the gun & taser
after a parade of useless witness... this witness finally has some meaning to the prosecution's case
ETA: honestly... the fact that a taser grip is shorter (perhaps not allowing a pinky to fit) is perhaps the biggest piece of info to learn... outside of the weights of the 2 weapons

I feel much more sorrow for Kim Potter than I did for Kyle Rittenhouse. They're going to ruin her.

Potter was the only Brooklyn Center PD officer who had that model taser as it had just come out
