Chat is currently grappling with the debate over whether or not DNA is a molecule. Both sides are confident.

more importantly... why is there a need for DNA evidence in this case?
it has nothing to do with whether Potter was criminally negligent in shooting Wright

+1. This whole day has been a waste save for a couple of bits regarding the taser and differences with the glock and her training.

so... Glock trigger pull is 5-6 lbs
taser trigger pull (not in evidence... only from Rekieta's quick google) is 4+ lbs
earlier models of taser had weaker trigger pull (took less weight to pull trigger)

That was interesting but are you really going to feel a 1 lb difference in that scenario? As for the grip I think that is much more damning than the weight of the two but as someone in the Rekieta chat said a woman typically has smaller hands so maybe her pinky fit on the taser grip.

this BCPD commander on the stand now went to the University that was kicked out of NCAA D3 for being too good so it went straight to D1 (which is very odd)

in a high stress scenario... I don't think I would notice a 1 lb difference... but who knows until you're actually in the scenario

I had that thought too
I think we need to learn more about this taser... esp. since it was a brand new model and she was the only officer in the department with that specific type of taser at the time
