Furthermore, sometimes a leader needs to bring reality to the mix and forcefully call someone/somewhere out when they need to step up their game. What? You think great coaches don't have a few choice words for those slacking on their teams? I think you need to re-learn what leadership calls for at times and it isn't always butterflies and roses...

Being a leader means insulting someone behind their back? Trump could shite and you'd call it chocolate ice cream.

Leaders offer help and constructive criticism. If a coach ever talked behind your back and insulted you while you weren't around, you had terrible coaches.

This is a bush league move by Trump and is plain disrespectful to the office of the President.

Period.

Well you sanctimonious ahole, a president shouldn't spy on political opponents with the country's intelligence assets.

What a"scandal" you have there! People are going to rise up and cast Trump out because he called shitholes shitholes.

Honestly, I find the frank discussion refreshing, kind of like when a head coach stops speaking "coach speach" and just flat out says "yeah, we sucked tonight. I shouldn't have gone for it on 4th down, our linebackers couldn't tackle, and our WR's couldn't catch a cold in an ice storm..."

This is idiotic even for you.

You want to know what I bet he knows?

You think world leaders don't talk shite behind closed doors?

As I said, you're naive kid

I sat in on a conversation between a US ambassador and his European counterpart. If you think what Trump said is bad......just fricking LOLZ.

So just to be clear. You think I'm naive for thinking a President should be above calling other countries shitholes?

You're everything that is wrong with our country for the last 20 years.

Do you understand the difference between what is said in a private meeting, and what is said on public record?

Do you think the US is the only country that treats the two different?

If you think so, again....just fricking LOLZ kid.

have to do with this

When you are framing that America's priorities and obligations lie in the political agenda of the president and how he defines it. Defining anyone who does not adhere to advancing and protecting that agenda and it's leader as scum.

Those are not the principles and ideals this country was founded upon. Trumpkins like him try and co-opt the language of patriots to dress up ideas and behavior that are actually the antithesis to the democratic-republic values this country is meant to stand and strive for.

This was not a confidential national security meeting, this was a closed door bi-partisan meeting with members of either party. There is no moral crime that is committed if people in the room felt the voting public should be made aware of certain aspects of the meeting. If there is a flaw in the system it is not that we have too much transparency, its that there is too little of it.

Dude, what are you even talking about? Your post doesn't make sense because you are so eager to trash Trump. I feel bad for even dignifying it with a reply but when you over-reach like you did here it diminishes your weak arse argument from the beginning.

bullshite.

America is the leader of the world....like it or not a leader understands the finesse of diplomacy. Trump on the other hand spends all his time on twitter call people names and being mad that no one likes him. This is simply par for the course for him.

We will look back in 3 years on just how terrible he was as a president.

Great deflection on your part.

Is it, or is it a good idea diplomatically to call other nations of the world shite holes.

This administration is off the rails. It's one thing to be anti-establishment and quite another to be undignified. Trump is an American embarrassment.

It seems the more Trump fatigue grows, the more obnoxious and infuriating he becomes. I wish Melaria would slip a sedative in his Diet Coke. We need a day or two of peace and quiet coming from the White House.
