When watching the games yesterday, did anyone else notice that USAA Insurance has suddenly edited the months played version of the commercial which made a few mentions of the wife outranking the husband in the Navy and at home to remove any reference to either?

I found that interesting.

Maybe the worm is turning a little.

Because in today society it’s perfectly OK to make white people and white men in general look like idiots.

Does Apple go out of its way to cast the most peculiar looking people possible?

Pick a time at random and a network looking for a sitcom.
Chances are the older white male or males are the weakest minded buffoons on the show.

I have been talking about this issue for years.

White straight men, and particularly white straight fathers, are the butt of every joke from the diversity slop bucket.

And in every home security commercial the criminal is always white.

Pisses me off.

You have to be a special kind of snowflake to notice or care about this

I did find it interesting that USAA completely revamped that commercial that has been running for months to remove the “I outrank my husband” stuff.

The guys in the Sonic commercials, though I suspect they aren’t “straight” white males.

I notice because it has become an inside joke at home with the wife when we are watching TV. We critique commercials where the husband is stepping in a bucket of paint or falling off the roof while the wife looks on shaking her head and wearing her tool belt with her arms crossed.

Not sure you have to be a snowflake to take notice of an organized attempt to influence culture.

Being aware that an agenda exist and commenting on the execution isn’t snowflaking.

I mentioned that to my son while watching a little bit of the game yesterday.

We both lol'd.

You have to be a dim-witted mouth breather to not notice it - and to be an idiot sycophant to not care when others point out the obvious.

The ultimate would be to show a black guy who doesn't know how to coil up a garden hose.

apparently that is an affliction that only attacks white men

I have seen it recently; like Saturday maybe? Since yesterday was NFL and the one I saw was of Vince Lombardi's grandson, maybe that one was more significant?
