I initially thought this too, but their VM doubled down on stupid arrogance. Now I’m hoping they go out of business.

It's never good to mix small business with politics...

Ufortunately, the unhinged left doesn't understand that...

This.

I've known the owner of my company for six years and still couldn't tell you what his politics are. I know he dislikes one particular elected official who's bad for business (and he also has a personal reason for disliking that politician). Otherwise, I couldn't even guess whether he was MAGA or With Her.

The county where red hen is located voted for donald trump by 30 points. It's obvious this was a terrible business move.

Trump voters are probably not the target demo for upscale restaurants

WTF?

You do understand that a TV dinner brought to you in the basement isn't upscale, right?

Actually, in Lexington it’s fairly true. It’s a very poor area supported almost entirely by Washington and Lee. The majority of the city is hard core red and exceedingly poor. The wealthiest adults in the city are professors at W&L, who do lean overwhelmingly left. They are definitely Red Hen’s target customer, as it’s damn near the most expensive restaurant in town (if not the most expensive).

But I agree that it’s a wildly inaccurate statement on a national scale.

Well, President Trump's Press Secretary and her family went there to eat so based on the evidence available, you're wrong.......as usual.
