I wonder.... in January the US averaged 30K more daily average hospitalizations than today. This was AFTER field hospitals were taken down, largely unused at the very height of the pandemic.

So why are hospitals overcrowded now, when they weren’t then?

They’re only regionally overcrowded. They’re blaming it on vaccines, but I suspect there is a climate component. Not sure why someone hasn’t figured that out yet.

Several people in my family are nurses. Hospitals are throwing money at nurses and staff to keep the hospital well staffed. Many are burnt out and there are a high number of call ins every shift. People not scheduled to work are not coming in despite getting offered 2-3 times their normal pay.

I know several nurses able to pull in 6 figures over the last year, but now they are burnt out and would rather have an escape from what they are having to deal with and see in the hospital every day.

There’s also a nursing shortage, fueled in part by vax mandates, that no one wants to talk about.

There is also a shortage as a lot of nurses are catching covid themselves and can not work for up to 2 weeks.

I'm surprised that science hasn't found a better treatment after 1 1/2 years. Hell it only took 8 months to create a vaccine. Maybe they should try some different treatments.

Seems like the hospitals are making bank. I bet you don't see any of their management people bitching. Except to tell their workers to work harder. NEED MORE REVENUE!!

Is it sad to read about Afghanistan? That people will probably be left behind? How big of a colossal screwup it is?

Is it sad to hear about the disaster at the southern border? They are spreading Covid as they cross the country. Worried about that?

Is it sad to hear of your hero Governor, who took on Donald Trump by wasting a hospital ship that was fully staffed, misplaced ventilators he claimed wasn’t received, and sexually harassed every woman he was around?

Is it sad to hear about every major democrat ran city being a shooting gallery with innocent people being killed? And mayors using taxpayer paid cops for personal security.

Is it sad to watch the senate majority leader and house speaker to dance at a fundraiser while Afghanistan is in crisis and Americans are trapped?

Is it sad to watch California citizens have to recall a Governor because of him failing the citizens and ignoring his own mandates?

Is it sad to watch the Vice President giggle, laugh, and deflect when asked about major world events that seriously affect Americans?

I know….. I know you are having absolute trouble defending your geriatric, incompetent, dementia ridden president who cannot read a teleprompter. But spreading Yahoo “”news”” propaganda isn’t helping at all.

Looks like a good data point concerning how fatal it is -

How many in her unit died from covid??? How many in her unit? How many of them were hospitalized? ICU???

None have died, and maybe one hospitalization I believe. Kinda expected since most have been vaccinated since December and are mostly young and healthy. But I would expect that even if none of them were vaccinated. The crazy thing is my wife had direct exposure at least twice from but still didn't get it.
