I know several nurses able to pull in 6 figures over the last year, but now they are burnt out

Like I said - nursing shortage

They are burnt out because they are overworked and it’s cheaper to overpay one person with a single set of benefits than two average salaries with two sets of benefits

Here’s the math

1 nurse at 100k = 150k hospital costs
2 nurses at 75k = 250k hospital costs
3 nurses at 50k = 300k hospital costs

So there is a price point per bed the hospitals try and hit to maximize profit. This price point is burning nurses out even though the hospital is “throwing money” at them

You think public health people work on weekends? Lol.

Then it should have been Monday that was jacked up, not Tuesday, AND, it should happen every weekend.
