While the left and CNN write fear mongering articles about rising cases these guys actually look at the numbers and see:
1. Average age of positives is almost 30 years younger than in April.
2. Mass testing asymptomatic people gives positives.
3. Symptoms are generally milder.
4. Our hospitals are doing fine.
5. We continue to protect vulnerable populations.
6. The consequences of shutdown arent worth it.

Meanwhile JBE just says “cases up, you have been bad boys and girls, no phase 3 for you”

Didn't Abbott just advise everyone to stay home unless absolutely necessary yesterday?

DeSantis is fantastic. He and his team have followed the actual science and use actual common sense as opposed to fear. We’re lucky to have him. All with the media constantly pushing fear and panic and waiting for him to slip up.

What are you watching? Abbott has been sounding the alarm for days and is allowing local governments to implement mask requirements.

DeSantis is basically saying that it's a huge concern of his that younger people are testing positive, and is implying changes may be coming there as well.

I thought I read that Houston hospitals were at 90% capacity. Was I just imagining that? It’s possible, I took a gnarly nap today

No offense, but I don’t think this board cares about the opinion of anyone related to you

I use the word expert loosely but my SIL is a front line worker in Houston who recently spent a few days in New Orleans & said there was a noticeable difference in protocol & enforcement here vs there.

So the two people with the worst info are a physician and someone who works in Internal Data Controls at the states largest hospital system

Abbot just allowed a backdoor to force businesses to require masks. he can't do it on the populace, but he can on businesses.

i'll comply but it's BS.
