That isn't a quote. That's called paraphrasing and you cited Fox News of all places, like they're above embellishing.

You answered a question AND took issue. They aren't mutually exclusive. Stick to arguing with Road Gator, you aren't ready to up to my league yet. Maybe in another few years sonny.

In texas you have the Castle Doctrine, Your vehicle also acts as castle, so if your in your car and they try to break in to your car you can use deadly force as well... In texas, if you feel threatened while on your property and they dont leave you can use "whatever force is necessary" because of the mass amounts of land that are in the state... think ranchers that are working their property and someone just comes up on them... Its what got the pasadena guy off about 5 years ago... they were on his property trying to rob another guys house and he shot both of them dead, he got off because he felt imminent threat..

In the South, a cracked door is broken.

I win either way.

In Florida pretty sure that’s a yes. Sorry but if someone was outside my house and banging on the door trying to break it and my GF is the only one in the house I would expect her to call the cops and stand right in front of the door with our shotgun. If they got through it unload and wait for the cops to come clean it up. Shooting through the door however would lay out a more complex self defense case

You can have a participation trophy. I'll take the first place prize money.

But seriously, frick these antifa fricks.

I still can't believe no one was arrested when the cops showed up. Trespassing? Disturbing the peace? Vandalism? Nothing?

I tend to agree but them breaking the door changes it a bit. How does she know the next hit doesn't open the door.

1 woman
1 shotgun
20 people

I don't like those odds

Sure. Make that decision based on feelings. Sounds completely reasonable.

Fear is an emotion. If you are reasonably afraid for your life, it's logical to end whatever threat exists.

You can use deadly force to protect life, not property.

Not in civilized states like Texas. Here you can shoot a MF runnin' off with your neighbors stuff.

I don't know how many states have this doctrine but it's pretty much the same in Tennessee as in Texas. Your home, your car, OR any place you happen to be visiting is covered by this doctrine

As far as the incident at Tucker's house, some of the protesters were chanting "Mail Bomb" and one of them cracked the door. I'm curious how this would have been considered had one of them been shot.

Then if you have a double action gun make sure you use it as a double action gun. If you cock the hammer back and use it as a single action it is considered as premeditated.

This statement is moronic. I guess you think having a live round in the chamber is also premeditation. And just out of curiosity, after I discharge my double action firearm, how is anyone going to know if I had the hammer cocked when I squeezed the trigger the first time?
