Considering the actions of Obama and Clinton after their terms, that “tradition” mainly applies to Republicans.

Christ, Clinton was intentionally drawing media to him as he was searching for office space in NYC as W was having his first day in office.

They don't want to keep having to put those silly warnings under all his and his follower's messages about the election not being stolen when everyone knows it was.

Obama set the precedent of former POTUS staying involved. Once again DemProgFilthShitLibs projecting their faults onto others.

Before the 1st Kenyan Muslim Gay POTUS they all stayed out once out.

Like Obama and Clinton went quietly into the night. The only ones that do that are republicans because they don’t have a platform like Demorats do.

Bullshitz Trump was good for business......but know what is even better for business...........crushing the competitive start up without having to spend 100 million++ to buy them.

Yall can make it out to be whatever you want, this was simply a business play from Facebook and Twitter to crush a small start up that looked to provide a competitive platform without having to spend a penny.

Banning president Trump was just the first step in that process.

Laighabke yall think Twitter or Facebook gives a frick about anything but the bottom line

They want to control the flow of information.

If millions of people cannot communicate, and cannot get honest news, they will not know what is going on.

That's the game. That's it.

This is exactly why we don’t need smart appliances. World will become a Philip Dick novel

There's more proof of that than there is of the opposite, no? Where's the proof he didn't garner that many?

Better riot and kill people. Yee haw.

Well, not so fast. Twitter purges users and it's stock price plunges. This has happened often enough that investors expect this, lol. Twitter's stock price is down after this weekend's Nazi purge of conservatives.

The bottom line DOES NOT matter. They have their salaries that their friends on the board approve.

Twitter is a PAC disguised as a publicly traded company.

I’m thinking more along the lines of Transmetropolitan.

Most upper and middle class residences have “makers”, which are AI appliances used to create things you need rather than buying them.

They tend to spend their time horribly fricked up on machine drugs.

It's really not that complicated. They did it to protect themselves. Breaking up the big tech/social media monopolies has been on the minds of everyone in the government for a long time now. Now they have allies in D.C. who control the entire government thanks to Georgia's sorry asses.

No legislation will get put on them for at least the next 4 years. And probably a LONG time now that the GOP is in shambles.

You can thank Obama for that precedent.

Older than Obama, though he was very visible.

Clinton was such an attention whore he was out drawing press to himself looking for office space in Harlem while W was having his first day in office.

Yup. That’s why half of Biden’s transition team is filled with social media execs.
