Real Reason Twitter. And Facebook perm banned Trump

The "insurrection " gave them the oppurtunity and a reason to do it but the real reason is Trump is a dominant persona, the next four years Biden, Dems and most of all establishment Republicans are going to have to deal with a former President that will harass and try to block them at every turn, big tech and the swamp aren't concerned about what has happened they are more concerned about what a thorn Trump will be in the near future, hence the desire to ghost him, deny him any platform.

I think you're exactly right. They know Trump is still the leader of the conservative/GOP party (whatever you want to call it). And they know Trump wont abide by the past "tradition" of presidents retiring from the limelight and staying quiet. They don't want him pointing out Biden's corruption/imbecility/anti-American actions because they know everyone listens to him.

Twitter and Facebook just made Trump become even bigger because if Trump isn't in the White House he will have his own TV network, social media outfit, etc. And, there are many billionaires who would gladly invest in such with Trump.

If Biden and Harris hold they'll be the most unsuccessful administration because most importantly the American people are probably the most politically astute we've ever been and the Dems have never been more unpopular. Dems have turned off significant numbers of White moderates, Asians, Latinos and Blacks. I don't think the people, including the military, will just go off to war and support it like in the past especially after Trump brought troops home and engaged in no wars.

I know what they say Biden got as far as votes but Trump has given the populous a political education. That is trouble for the Dems because the Dems thrive when the populous is ignorant.

True in part - but it is obvious banning Trump is just the beginning, and silencing him is only part of the goal.

No doubt...and while they will make money like crazy and cut into current social media market share they will merely be slicing out a piece of pie which already exists. They ain't gonna make the pie any bigger so their share will remain the same or be reduced in size.....and this is how the market works.

The only reason is because the trump money train has arrived at the station and the paying passengers are getting off to make their transfer. They know, as does anyone capable of even simple thought, that Trump is now headed down the well trodden road of GOP losers before him...in 24 months 90% of you will view him in the same light as you do W today. Or Dole, Daddy Bush, Romney or McCain.

I hope you are right but it appears that liberal progressive control every aspect of main stream media and Trump and all conservatives will be hard pressed to find a media outlet that won't be shut down.

No he won’t. I’d be shocked if he can even get a license from the FCC. If he does, no streaming service or cable service will carry it out of fear.
Forget any hosting service of a social media platform.
