If it was carefully thought out, why did they rescind any terminations so quickly?
This has been explained multiple times by myself and others. I can't understand it for you.

yeah, "it happens all the time in the private sector."
Great explanation.
Great explanation.

The headline is really a nothing burger . This from the CDC website.
"Administration officials told the CDC last month that nearly 1,300 of its probationary employees would be cut, but only approximately 700 to 750 employees ended up receiving termination notices."
So while 150-180 have been retained or "rehired", the remaining 700-750 are still terminated.
Laymen's terms: Read beyond the MSM headlines.

egregious mistakes

You're saying it is a common business practice to fire employees just to hire them back
Yes.
100% yes.
quote:Explain why you think this is true, in your own words.
government isn't a business
I'm curious.
Because it is technically true. But the reasons it is true are not relevant to this discussion in any real way.

Progressives are suddenly very interested in holding the federal bureaucracy accountable for potential mistakes and demanding accountability
We should take those concerns very seriously, since they're coming from such serious people.

You can't seem to accept the fact that context is needed to assess an action. I can't help you with that.

You’re joking. I’ve been saying this whole time that mass terminations don’t make sense because they aren’t thoughtful. Now you’re saying that context is needed to evaluate each termination. Looks like we agree.

And how does this evaluation process work?

No, mensa. I'm saying that complaining about 180 mistakes without the context of how many firings occurred across government is emotional foolishness.

This will happen more and more.
Also, when the next Democrat President takes office (in 2028), they'll be a mass hiring of people back into the govt.

quote:why do you continue to lie? They weren't "terminated". They received a notice of a future termination. They were informed to not come to work.
If it was carefully thought out, why did they rescind any terminations so quickly?
"Hey, don't come back to work. Your job may be terminated at a future date. In the meantime, enjoy the paycheck while sitting at home doing nothing, which is what most of you likely did while WFH anyway."
"okay, 180 of you actually do work. So, we are not actually going to terminate you. You can come back to work effectively immediately."
This is how this went down. Not the lie that you've been perpetuating this entire time.

And the 150-180 is just based on some anonymous source. It could be 10. It could be 300. And we’ll never know.

It’s probably a big deal to the 180 non-billionaires who were fired without cause
I was fired without cause once. Went home and drank some beer and was working again within a week.
Not really newsworthy unless you are a whiny, entitled, little bitch like yourself.

Oh, context is only needed sometimes. Makes sense.

The government inefficiency is what's newsworthy.

Another government induced pandemic is coming. Trump is winning too much and the globalist can't have it.
