Only a 'clown show' if I DON'T get to read about many not wanting to return to work after being treated so poorly, and then say they would never return to work for the federal government. LMAO.... Le' Resistance. they can't even do that right.

Funny how these people act.

I want you to care about the sociopath responsible for capriciously firing hundreds of thousands of people and immediately regretting his directives.
Neither Musk, nor DOGE have authority to do anything but examine and advise. They do not have authority to layoff employees.

They certainly do not have authority to fire federal employees. Nor do the vast majority in the Federal workforce have that authority, and as far as I am aware, outside of a personal POTUS directive, there are strict requisite protocols for firing Fed employees. So I'm surprised you'd continue misusing the term "Fire"

Of course the "sociopath" and "capricious" invectives are surprising as well.

Congress last year repealed the vaccine mandate for members of the military, but did not include any back pay or reinstatement provisions for those already impacted.

Oh shite, and y'all really hate the military too.

I'll give you sociopath but capricious is a very diplomatic way of describing these mass terminations.

See Where 12 Million U.S. Employees Are Affected by Government Vaccine Mandates
The New York Times

Mandates requiring shots cover at least 12 million people, according to a Times survey of every state and the nation’s 100 largest cities.

quote:

At least 8 million people employed by state or city governments must get vaccinated.

To arrive at the total estimate of at least 8 million people covered by state and city requirements, The New York Times identified vaccine requirements, beyond those mandated by the federal government, that apply to health care workers, long-term care workers, city or state public employees, correctional workers and education employees in the kindergarten-through-12th-grade system. At least 25 states and 39 cities have required shots for some portion of these employees, who otherwise would face ongoing testing requirements or, in some cases, disciplinary action or termination.

So 20 million people had vaccine mandates affecting their jobs.

20 million

And being shite at your job isnt a bullshite reason.

Getting fired over a vaccine that doesnt stop you from getting it or spreading it is bullshite.

Oh how convenient for you not to post when the democrat was president.

Sort of like never starting threads on edwards.

But you came running back to start threads about landry.

How about this, i dont give a flying shite that 1,300 probationary people lost a job when your people tried to get 20 million people fired.

Seriously, go frick yourself.

Need to also freeze new hiring. Attrition will also winnow it down and that tends to work from the top down not the bottom up.

Your party’s approval rating is in the 20’s percentile. People are abandoning it in droves. You have no clear leader and ZERO candidates going forward for the Presidency. But man you got us on this one. I mean you finally did it. Celebrate your win. You deserve it.

I don't think you understand what capricious means. This was planned, and you were told it was coming and why.

It’s probably a big deal to the 180 non-billionaires who were fired without cause.

You realize that most people live in work at will states and can be fired at anytime for reason, right? Why are federal employees special dumbass?

If it was carefully thought out, why did they rescind any terminations so quickly?

Yep. And anyone could drop dead at any moment so I guess I should go around killing people indiscriminately.

Right. I stand by my statement regardless of the sector. My refusal to be a pawn should be respected. I certainly respect anyone else who stands up for their worth as an individual.

I didn't post when Trump was president the first time either. I didn't regularly post for about 12 years.

Again, I wasn't consistently posting then. This is a really stupid argument, btw. "You can't criticize this person unless you criticized this other person years ago!"
