Thomas and RBG will both be replaced before 2020 imo.

That’s my hope as well; however, being a justice isn’t the most physically demanding of jobs and they’ll - the other justices and the liberals - will do everything in their power to aid her.
As long as she just shows up and sits in her seat during the court sessions, then the other members will pickup all the slack without saying a word. She won’t have to ask any questions, write any opinions, or participate in any way. They’ll circle the wagons, liberal and conservative, for her because they know this could be them in just a matter of time. I bet they’ll even argue against her removal if she’s on life support.
Even if she recuses herself from everything for the next year, the liberals will fully support her. They’ll claim she’s just getting well and recuperating. They’ll have her hang on just until January 2020 then they’ll claim it’s an election year ... but unlike when Mitch and the Republicans did it, they’ll have the full backing of the media. It will likely work for them.
They’ll also call up the SJW troops to aid her in every way possible - doctors by her side 24/7, homecare, food deliveries, etc., anything you could imagine to ease her burden... all free of charge.
As long as she has breath in her lungs, they’ll fight to keep her. And when you’re being pampered to such a degree, that could last years.
