As I said-- I wish her a peaceful, loving retirement, not her death. But if she were a non-political activist leftist; the left would be saying she needs to retire instead of pulling a McCain.

I never wish ill on those who are evil. I instead wish they would repent from their evil.
That being said, I will in fact celebrate her replacement unless it is another evil influence on this country such as herself.

For the sake of the constitution, he should think of retiring while GOP has the White House and the Senate.

I have suggested many times on PT that Justice Thomas should quietly meet with President Trump and state his plans to retire after this term, giving the President enough time to decide his replacement. Then when he announces his retirement, the replacement is also announced at that time or VERY shortly thereafter.

This also gives President Trump time for a second replacement should the rumors be true about Justice Ginsburg deciding to retire.

Which is exactly why Trump should not give one flying rat turd about bipartisanship or tradition, or anything else for that matter, for RBG's replacement. The GOP has the Senate by a comfortable margin now. Nominate and confirm within 3 weeks.

We will see shortly how the dems feel winning the house was more important as Trump and McConnell add another conservative to the SC.

At this point, I honestly feel bad for RBG. She wants to retire, but she knows has zero support from her party to do so.

She doesn’t want to retire. She is very satisfied to sit and allow her clerks to do the work and push the liberal agenda.

Justice Hugo Black is that you? God I agreed with everything you said about how the Constitution and laws should be interpreted in general if ambiguity is present after a plain textual interpretation, consulting the original intent of the framers. Dude’s my SCOTUS spirit animal though I’m very small government compared to his politics.

Also, if the libs want to expand the court, lets do it

They should at minimum call for a vote to see who is in favor. Every democratic will vote no. And then vote yet 6 years later.

Nope, I'm just "woke" enough to realize that Leftism is a threat to Western Civilization and it must be eradicated for the good of mankind.

Ginsburg is a radical old hag whose absence from the bench will make the world a better place.
