By itself, this really isn’t a big deal, almost treated outpatient, except for her age, which puts her at higher risk...But, she’s had pancreatic cancer, with targeted radiation. So, it can mean a whole bunch of things. Stone has to be new( imaging would have picked up when treating the Pancreatic cancer)and maybe in common duct, which could mean a stricture(radiation injury), Somatistatinoma or recurrence of other tumor to head of Pancreas. Either way, it’s definitely not good...but she’s been here before, and she’s tough, you have to give her that....
