Most of the appointees in the Executive and Legislative branches are not subject to the routine Civil Service protections and they "serve at the will of the president" or their Legislative bosses. Also these people were mere witnesses and not whistleblowers therefore not subject to WB rules and protections.

After linking to that site, I now have clopper_tranny_homo_magic.com ads following me on the damn google Ads panel. Don't want to know what the real raw story is, but the linked site was bullshite.
Neither of the Vindman twins, nor ERIC CIARAMELLA for that matter, qualified as whistleblowers.
Sondland proved to be an incompetent fool but could be dismissed for any reason regardless.
