I want Rand to add,

"Let's drop all taxes and make the government pay off "ITS" debt"

I'm sick of all these mooching motherfrickers.

I still don’t know where I stand on this bill. It seems like there’s a lot of good in it and a lot of bad in it. But there’s so much being said on both sides that I don’t know what to believe.

I'm sure BCreed just needs to go up there and teach Rand how Congress works and how he's wrong and Rand will change to a Yes, Hell Yes with the swiftness.

Let's hope he has the time so everybody can be on the same page - Trump budget years don't hit until 2030 or 2035. All we can hope for in the meantime is some tweaking of spending that's already laid out for several years - Biden budgets as far as you can see.

I don’t particularly like this bill and would be fine with it dying.

But, at some point Rand and folks like him need to get something moving. The Rs get steamrolled and wind up making terrible deals every session. The Dems keep applying pressure on debt and deficit, doing nothing while you have the numbers is just delaying what you openly oppose.

In other words, I’m getting a bit tired of what these guys can’t do, they are there for a reason, and if you are positioning yourself to be a flip vote, go make something happen - go fight for something.

Exactly. Rand Paul is advocating for passing nothing. He will get nothing done and these clapping seals will cheer him for it while blaming anyone else for the tax cuts expiring.

Its that simple.

Is it? How did he vote on spending bills during the Biden administration? For as long as he's been a Senator? Because if he voted FOR any spending bills he's contributed to the debt and his principles don't mean shite.

It's instructive that you evidently don't realize how this reads about Trump superfans if written from the other side of the argument.

You're suggesting it's on Paul and Massie to overcome Trump/MAGA in order to make good on Trump promises to fix the budget/debt and burn permanent Washington to the ground.

This bill is about required spending only. The fact that it is making cuts to Medicaid AT ALL should be causing you to cheer from the rooftops. If this doesn't pass, I predict this will be the only opportunity you will ever see in your lifetime for entitlements to be cut in any way.

Imagine being so stupid that you actually believe the CBO forecasts and then also pretend those forecasts aren't because they are overvaluing the cost of keeping the tax cuts. That's Rand Paul.

So now Trump(The businessman, that we all voted for to fix a broken government) suddenly wants to just spend like crazy?

I trust the man and I think most of us know that a plan is in place. It won't seem it at first, but you cannot just halt everything.

The mid-terms will clean out all of the grifters and takers and it is our job to vote in True conservatives that will operate within the framework of the original papers.

A tax cut in D.C. and by scorers is considered a government expenditure (Spending). Time for a house cleaning of the true Waster, Fraudsters and abusers. Most of our Tax dollars fall under all 3 of those descriptors.

I trust the man, not the politicians.

That image that was shared about how he would totally be on board with this bill if it was "just the tax cuts" makes him look like a complete moron. The tax cuts are a LARGE part of why the CBO claims this bill will add so much to the deficit.

Do you agree with CBO that the tax cuts will add a shite ton to the debt?

No, the CBO was wrong before and they're still wrong now.
