When Bernie and Rand are united in opposition against you then we all should listen.

But if I were to play Devil’s Advocate and we’re cutting NASA’s budget to incentivize space flight to the private sector, it is in our collective, longterm, national best interest for there to be healthy competition between SpaceX, Blue Origin, and the Lockheed partnership to develop the best, most efficient and most reliable spaceflight delivery systems possible. A lack of competition early on could lead to complacency and a subpar product. Even if it means giving one of them a $10 billion pat in the arse every now and then to catch up to the rest

Bezos is a giant POS and can GSHDIAB, but I don’t wish increased taxes on my worst enemy.

If I found out that Hillary managed to legally not pay a cent in taxes, I’d applaud her, not be mad.

Why give anybody else a dime when Space-X is essentially the new NASA?

OG Rand Paul. A Republican who opposed billionaire bailouts before it was cool

He’d have a great shot at the presidency were he not the size of a late-maturing 12 year old. It’s a shame because he’d make a great one

I would have voted for him in 2016 but he dropped out after Iowa. Would vote for him again any time.

This country is evil. The government is irreparably evil.

The first step to correcting that is getting over your knee-jerk patriotism.

It's all past-tense.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen crony capitalism defended here or anywhere. Unless it’s liberals wanting subsidies for “green” energy.

No because that is one of the reasons NASA sucked in the end.

If we award them for nothing, they will continue to create a subpar product.

Blue Origin wants $10 billion?

Create a great product and beat out SpaceX

I’m more conservative than you are, but I’m not retarded. And simping for the likes of Bezos is retarded.

Point me to your negative comments about foreign aid, welfare, food stamps, Section 8 housing, 47% not paying Federal Income Taxes, border jumpers costing us in excess of $100 billion a year and all of the other handouts that my tax money goes to and I will apologize.

I hate ALL handouts.

But lately on this board, "Republicans" have been bitching and complaining a lot about CEO's, corporations and wealthy people.

That's what Democrats do.

Again, no one should get a handout, including Bezos, farmers, Amtrak, Wall St, Detroit, banks and the things I listed above,

I was shocked when I read what you wrote because there are only about 10 of us on this board who are real conservatives and I thought you were one of them.

There are loads on the Right that will argue until they're blue in the face against (finally) taxing Bezos. In their role as useful idiot for the uber-wealthy, they'll argue that if you're not a fan of welfare for billionaires or wealth transfers up the food chain, you're just jealous.

Bezos should pay millions if not billions in taxes. He games the crap out of the system. But it not Bezos we should be targeting, he’s only doing what a smart businessman should be doing. The target is DC and all the politicians that are getting rich writing policies that allow people like Bezos and Gates and others to manipulate the system the way they do. If you change you have to correct the source not the result.

He is. But not on lost contracts. Those are not job creators. In business you take risks. Everybody doesn't get a trophy. The better the business man/entrepreneur the more often risks pay off.

Awarding failure in this instance is nonsense.
