100 years from now it’ll be interesting to see how history views this weird little populist spin up from the early 2000s. I don’t think it’s the end of traditional conservatism, but it’s taken a big hit and may take decades to return to small- govt, states-rights republicans. I have no doubt the version of JD Vance that wrote Hillbilly Elegy will be back once Trump is gone

I didn’t say he was wrong. I’m saying he’s ineffective.

Correct. I'm just saying if Trump wanted to take things even further left, they would go right along with it. They're not conservatives in any classical sense of the word. Certainly not the Milton Friedman types.

Good. You "conservatives" have been losing for decades and got us 40tril in debt

You guys are the only one holding on to the guy. Nowhere have we defended or said we like any member of congress. They’re all worthless.
You only like Massie because he’s anti Trump.

No shite.
Again it’s only because Massie is anti Trump and speaks out. People on Twitter were the same way with the best governor ever and look where Ron is now.
Everyone is THE BEST when they’re against Trump.

Hmmm…I guess that explains the numerous threads complaining about Murkowski, Graham, Collins, etc….or the other REAL RINOs.

Nope. I happen to believe that if elected more Massie (and Paul) types, this country would be far better off than it is now. Strangely, you argue against that which is weird AF, or you’re a liberal deep down.

Or perhaps you’re a libertarian and you don’t know it. Remember we are the Republican Party and you’re the far right conservatives.

Rand is a smart guy and did a wonderful job destroying Anthony Fauci. But I think Rand has slipped into a case of 'Look at Me' Syndrome.
True, especially in contrast with Trump—who we can all agree is a paragon of humility.

Rand is definitely soft. However, you need a couple guys like him around to remain principled. He's rarely wrong when it comes to constitutionality, proper enforcement of the law, etc.
People here go bonkers over Massie and Paul, but don't seem to give a damn when Lindsey Graham is tweaking on Air Force 1, trying to start another war.
Rand Paul
Liberty Score 93%
Heritage Foundation
Avg Senate Republican voting score 78%
Rand Paul score 90%
Here's the essence of the Trump agenda right here from freedomindex:
The Freedom Index rates members of congress based on their adherence to constitutional principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, national sovereignty, and a traditional foreign policy of avoiding foreign entanglements.
Rand Paul lifetime score: 96%

Bull Motherfricking shite!
We have been railing against that bitch on here and in person for years
Y'all keep posting those retard scores like you are doing something
DIdn't TPUSA score Rand around 67% recently?
Newsflash: We want to get rid of about half or more of these worthless tricks that are currently in office

Thomas Massie votes with Republicans over 90% of the time. When he doesn't vote with Republicans, it's because he doesn't support not holding paedophiles accountable for their crimes, doesn't support invading or dropping bombs on countries that are no threat to our country, and doesn't support massive spending increases that further drive our country into debt. Inconvenient truths.
