Lucky for you they didn't damage your property since you opt for illegal uninsured labor.

Bastards like you make it hard on us insured and bonded companies to make a honest living

Glad we are rounding up the gangs, criminals and terrorists that are working hard everyday in construction.

My point is there are people we want here. You can’t kick the entire labor force out, or else we’ll be stuck hiring the local business who charges too much due to government regulation and insurance requirements.

So instead we'll let foreign labor increase our own unemployment and pay more in taxes to support them?

I'd rather boot the illegals and pay my own countrymen than be taxed more to have them sit on their arse while Pedro does the job for less.

Time to start enforcing Alabama's e-verify system. And past time to punish the contractors that hire these illegals.

What if these contractors used E-verify, which is the law in Alabama? Do we still punish the contractors?

They need to come by the Chevron down the street from my house. It has a 'Lavanderia' next to it and a little restaurant on the other side with a booze store connected. The Chevron is owned by Indians; however, they have Spanish speaking employees working in the store. Anyway, the place is loaded with Latin men in the evenings and weekends.
There's a taco truck out front and the parking lot is full of loud, Mexican/Latin music blaring. You know, tubas, horns, whatever that goofy annoying music heard in the Mexican restaurants.
You get to hear it while pumping gas but be careful not to get hit by drunk drivers.

I’m all for mass deportations but if you’re going to make a huge spectacle and give the media ammunition to paint our president as a dictator you might as well get your money’s worth instead of a few dozen here and there.

Don't be scared bro, the media is going to always paint Trump or any Republican enforcing the law as a dictator.

Last week I hired a crew of Hispanic men to do some serious yardwork on a rent house of ours in VA. They trimmed some large trees and cut one down entirely.

If I had hired an “official” bonded and insured tree removal service it would have cost 10x what this crew did, and they wouldn’t have been able to do it so quickly.

I’ve used them before and I know there’s zero chance any of them are here legally. They work for cash only, and only one of them speaks very broken English.

My point is there are people we want here. You can’t kick the entire labor force out, or else we’ll be stuck hiring the local business who charges too much due to government regulation and insurance requirements.

I'm sorry but I'm finding your story hard to believe. I'm calling bullshite as a matter of fact. I've hired some myself and I've always found them less professional, lazy and unreliable compared to legit businesses that care about their reputation.
I've also hired companies with "subs" showing up to do the work with the same shitty results.
The difference with companies is you can complain, and they will try to make it right by sending someone else to fix the issue.

I seriously doubt they're using e-verify and know for a fact most subs absolutely don't.

This shite has been going on for 20 + years. It's way past time for these frickers to gtfo

Why is this and "rounding up gangs, etc." mutually exclusive?

Hint - they are not.

I live in Craft Farm's about 3-4 miles from the new HS, it looked like every law enforcement agency was well represented.

Not where I live.

As a homeowner and landlord I’ve hired “illegal” workers many times over the years. They always come in with the lowest quote, are eager to work, and are skilled at their job.

On the other hand the white meth-head contractor always wants 3 times as much and leaves cigarette butts all over my yard.

Sorry, my sympathy for him doesn’t pay my bills or make me profit. I’ll go with the cheaper guy who can actually do a good job.

Yes I’ve had this experience as well. I just pay more for better quality. The problem is now because of illegal immigration, legit businesses can’t find workers so they hire sub contractors. You get illegals first time laying bricks, framing, laying tile or roofing. They might not leave cigarette butts but they leave their empty water bottles and other junk. They don’t speak English but they have a ‘supervisor’ who speaks a little bit of English.
I’ve had not so good experiences with illegals all the way around. Lawn guys were awful and unreliable and expensive. I just bit the bullet and do all of my lawn work myself.
