You really think that's all Trump did in that hour long call? Raffensperger told him repeatedly they had already investigated the fraud allegations and there was nothing to them. Trump refused to listen and kept telling him he should decertify the election results.

So your “damning” piece of evidence is that Trump disagreed with someone over whether or not fraud occurred?

At no point during that phone call did Trump ask anyone to manufacture votes.

You’re just a dishonest person.

I do not think that occurred in the first half hour that I listened. Did he say that later on?

I didn't think anything new was going to come up so I quit listening - not a very informative use of time.

Did Trump tell him he "should decertify the election results" or not??

Hence the indictment.

Feel free to post/quote the part where Trump tries to have Raff manufacture votes.

Then tell us how you know what they
knew.

You won't, because you can't.

Hence, you're an idiot.

You seeem to have listened to the recording of the call. Is that correct? Did you hear the whole thing? If so, be very precise in the point during the call where he asked or told anyone to manufacturer votes. Its not hard to link the recording and tell us where (minute, second) exactly in the recording you come to this conclusion. Now....go

a letter Trump sent Raffensberger says that he (Trump) "respectfully requests" that "if" Raff... finds fraud that he "start the process of decertification"

is that the predicate?

hah

So, you're relying on what amounts to the accused investigating himself, then telling you he's not guilty and you just accept it despite having evidence to the contrary? Are you kidding me?

The Senate Judiciary Committee Subcommittee report concluded on December 9, 2020:

“The oral testimonies of witnesses on December 3, 2020, and subsequently, the written testimonies submitted by many others, provide ample evidence that the 2020 Georgia General Election was so compromised by systemic irregularities and voter fraud that it should not be certified”.

Judge Totenberg’s 08-15-19 Orderpg 70

"Given the entire course of events described here, the Defendants’ contention that the servers were simply “repurposed” and not intentionally destroyed or wiped is flatly not credible."

Curling v. Raffensperger
CIVIL ACTION NO.1:17-CV-2989-AT

The U.S. District Court found on Oct 11th, 2020 the Dominion Voting System that was used in the November 2020 election is unverifiable to the voter and in violation of two Georgia statues.

Tip of the iceberg.

Show me actual evidence to the contrary, and we'll talk. Raffensperger voted for Trump and would have had no problem supporting his claims if there were any evidence.

Cute, but Georgia bought the Dominion machines because of this ruling. Are we relitigating the 2016 election now?

Call me when someone finds actual fraud caused by the Dominion machines.

I didn't call it "damning". What I said was this was not just a disagreement. This was Trump asking someone to decertify an election based on false information. Trump not only knew the information was false, but Raffensperger also gave him the correct information during the phone call.

does this define the four corners of "the crime"?

No, this is just one act of the alleged conspiracy.

I don't understand why Trump doesn't release his official recording of the phone call and cut all this back and forth out.

I keep hearing this parroted, but no one seems to be able to identify the crime.

And then of course there’s the blatantly selective prosecution.

Who all went to prison for a fabricated dossier, fraudulent FISA warrant, illegal wiretaps and other spying on a sitting President, etc etc?

You’re stating things as facts that aren’t facts.

Raffensberger played fast and loose with more than a few things. Especially in the recounts.

But you have a quote from him, so you’re sure everything is honkey dorey.

Now it's the accused investigating himself and he voted for Trump. Got it.

Show you? You have dropbox videos destroyed, ballot images lost or destroyed, chain of custody issues, a bogus & errot-riddled RLA, sig verification in one county Cobb), refusal by one county (Coffee) to certify electronic recounts produced by Dominion machines, voting machines in violation of state code, highly questionable conflicts of interest between vendors, VSTL's, the EAC, & officials, VSTL's whose EAC accreditations had expired in 2017, etc...
If Raff wanted to help Trump, he woulda at least faked it...which is exactly what he's done about any legit investigations.

Not quite dipshit...4 R's & 2 D's.
Giuliana & Powell were not present at those hearings to peddle (not pedal, no bicycles were present either )

I want to apologize to everyone in this thread for misunderstanding what the GP article was about. I thought it was related to misquotes from Trump's Jan. 2 phone call to Raffensperger.

Instead, the article is about Trump's Dec. 23, 2020 phone call to Frances Watson, the Georgia SOS chief investigator. The misquotes attributed to Trump were corrected in March, 2021.

So, I'm sorry for discussing the wrong phone call.

I still don't see how this is a big deal, though. The correct transcript of the call has been known for over 2 years, and the indictment does not mention the misquoted material in describing that phonecall as an act of the alleged conspiracy
