Does anyone watch these bodycams on Youtube? Do you see the shite these cops experience on a day to day basis? I love the holier than thou bullshite from people that don't live with the uncomfortable reality that there is pattern recognition that people in the real world encounter.
Don't believe your lying eyes, regurgitate our ideological utopia bullshite. I'm sure all these people would do real great working as cops and troopers every day dealing with people that lie, cheat, steal, attack and berate you on a daily basis.
God forbid some people may resort to calling them names in their private life or developing resentment towards certain communities.
Meanwhile lots of ethnic communities and religious groups very publicly criticize and critique whites and Christians in the most prejudicial and inflammatory manner with impunity via false premises and extreme contempt and they become civil and political champions.

Take your pompous phony one way racist view somewhere else. Most here don't suffer fools or WHITE GUILT.
Moronic people act as if only white people can be racist. If the truth is known, every race is racist and every race will always be comfortable with those who are just like them. It is completely natural. Besides, once the hair is brought into the argument, everything changes.
Those same morons who try to change what is natural will tell you a man can have a baby and a woman is born with a pecker!!
One only has to understand the origin of the word "racist" to understand why it is used so much to divide people.

I’m not a cop lover but I do respect the law.
I’m not a racists but I will avoid trashy people of all races.
Being LEO can be a tough job. They have to deal with the trash on a daily basis. Homeless druggies who haven’t had a shower in years. Drug pushers who prey on the innocent. Murderers. Accidents with dead bodies scattered about. Domestic violence where innocent children get hurt. People trying to shoot and kill you.
It has to wear on a person mentally and physically. People develop ways in ways to cope and vent.
Calling folks racial slurs isn’t cute or right but could be a coping mechanism.
How about people choosing not to do criminal activities?

I know the first one.

Ah... Old school... I'm used to just hearing "beaner" and "wetback."

No kidding. One of the worst racists I ever knew was a Dallas cop. Every time I was around this guy, he’d drop the n word and bash black folks. Weird. Just dropped the guy completely. These guys can’t help themselves with the hate.
It's almost like the scumbag civilians they interract with at work on a daily basis has that effect on them or something.

100% this. The bodycam footage of black interraction with cops is fricking incredible. The demand for bodycams has completely backfired on those that thought they would expose police wrongdoing and racism. You see liberals enacting policy to remove surveillance cameras, public publishing of mugshots, and gun shot detection systems that notify police... I was wondering the other day how long it is before we see them reversing on their insistance for bodycams and they begin to start banning body cams. Because they are doing nothing but vindicating police and showing who the real problem is when it comes to interactions with police.

We are in the day and age of screenshotting everything. Always be very careful on what you send to anyone, and yes that includes spouses. You never know.

The saying, “you don’t know someone until you marry them “ is completely false. You really don’t know them until you divorce them

But I try to keep it to actual criticisms rather than ridiculous name calling.
Yeah, right, you sure have followed that during this entire thread. In your response to my post you stated -

I just think you're a fricking moron. Try not to take it too hard. It isn't your fault your parents raised a simple minded fool.
And BTW, in several posts in this thread you somehow pulled it out from somewhere in your mind and/or arse or wherever that the derogatory term spic referred to a 'Spanish hick' when in actuality the term originated from interactions with Spanish and English speakers having communication difficulties during the construction of the Panama Canal. The Hispanic workers used the term spik or spic when interacting with English speakers in their initial response and understanding of the word 'speak'. As in "do you speak English?" With a response akin to 'no, spic English.'
As such with many language terms it spread and was once used widely in the US, esp in the NE - but not anymore.
Bottom line - so much exposure for you on this thread - and not in a good way.

I read all through the divorce records a couple nights ago. It'll be interesting to see how this ends up. She wanted full custody with him having the kids every other weekend. As they texted back and forth it was obvious he wanted joint custody. There's a few points I'd make based on what I read:
1.)Her attorney told his attorney in an email she was shocked the info got out to the newspaper about the racism.
2.)She had been telling him in texts after the divorce was filed that if he didn't agree to her terms regarding the kids she was going to let it be known he lied on his police application. At one point there was a reference to him using some substance he wasn't supposed to but that part was kinda vague. She said a couple times if that part got out, the ASP wouldn't like it and it would be on courtconnect and everyone could read it.
3.)It appears she blindsided everyone about the racism. If her attorney's knew, they were probably telling her to keep it hidden.
4.)His dad is high up in the chain of command at ASP, yet she referenced his attorney as a budget attorney which is interesting if the dad didn't step in and buy him a good attorney. Her attorney is very popular for divorce law around central arkansas.
5.)His racist texts typically came right after a real-life event he or his agency was connected to that involved minorities and crime. Or, some were in response to articles he was looking at of famous events around the country like the Daniel Penny verdict. He didn't have any known issues of racism on the job and from what I can tell was regarded as a good trooper. I'm sure by now someones FOI'd his files but there's nothing indicating he's been disciplined unless they can't due to he quit.
In my opinion it was pretty shitty of her to release this info b/c it doesn't benefit her when it comes to child support. This could have been kept quiet and she would have won custody and got a decent child support check. Most likely he'd of never been found to be racist on the job. How many cops out there think just like he texted his wife? Probably the vast majority.
Instead he'll probably never make more than half what he would have. The only thing I can say in her defense was maybe she didn't want her kids around a hateful guy half the time being raised like that. We don't know what her responses were to his texts. But correct me if i'm wrong b/c I'm not a legal scholar, wouldn't the court have suppressed all that discovery info if all parties agreed? If not, if she'd of just told him what she was planning to give to the newspaper, he probably would have agreed to her terms and settled out of court. Her attitude was if she didn't get her way people would find out about something else that would make his job in jeopardy, other than the racism
