You’re a sad man.

You could treat me and others as you would want to be treated - like Jesus did, rather than engage in ad hominem attacks. You could actually engage the subject matter. I hope you are not one of those hypocrites which Jesus hated. I will pray for you, that the Lord spit in your eyes and cast out your demons.

This is what winning looks like. This is what it feels like to finally punch back. I hope it snowballs and continues to come crashing down on their heads.

The pendulum is swinging back in the opposite direction. Do not take your foot off their throat. A large segment of the modern left would bury us if they had the opportunity. By and large, the days of the blue dogs and moderate democrats are over. Their disgust at having to teach an anti communist curriculum and not being able to overtly push transgenderism on our children prove that. These people are filth.

Here is why, it runs in direct conflict with Marxist ideology. Let it all sink in...

Honor your father and mother.
You shall not kill.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.

I’m not religious if I recognize the extremely valued role the church traditionally played in society. It is and was a founding principle of our nation, and I think the separation of church and state is not a conservative position. I’m all for the 10 commandments being displayed in like k-5. I think you’d be pushing it middle school and it’s unnecessary in high school. It’s point wouldn’t be religious indoctrination but an attempt at instilling morals via osmosis

SCOTUS doesn't find it unnecessary to have it as a reminder on the wall. Middle/High Schoolers will be ok with them being on the wall too.

It’s almost as if Paul and Jesus are saying two different things.

Nah.

Not even almost; it's actually nothing like that.

When you consider the context of who the intended audience was in each passage and why that was the message that was being conveyed, it's not confusing at all.

quote:

Jesus repeatedly told people to follow...

No, he didn't tell people to do those things. He told Jews to do those things. While He was alive. Before He fulfilled the Law.

quote:

He chastised the Pharisees for...not actually following the law.

Not quite.

He primarily criticized the Pharisees for doing two things:

1. Following only the letter of the law while ignoring the spirit of the law

2. Adding their own rules on top of God's law (in effect, claiming God's authority and acting as they were God)

Jesus' message was pretty clear if you interpret properly. The law was holy and righteous, but there were two problems with it. The fact that it is impossible for fallen humans to follow it without failing, and the fact that it is incomplete.

Even if followed perfectly, it governs outward actions but doesn't sanctify the heart of a person. That's why He gave the examples of "You have heard it said, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, but I say to you..."

It was also incomplete because He hadn't yet fulfilled it. He was the fulfillment of the Law and it wouldn't be fulfilled until His resurrection.

Saying that Paul and Jesus are saying two different things is like saying you're confused that someone who has graduated from medical school still needs to do a multi-year residency in order to do brain surgery.

It's not either-or. It's both.

I guess it does get a little mysterious when you consider that we are incapable of obeying, but it requires a willingness to obey in order to express the faith needed to accept the grace of Christ necessary to save us.

Paul was writing to all kinds of people from various backgrounds in the 1st century who were brand new to these concepts, who didn't yet have a New Testament to read, and who were still trying to understand what this new Way was all about. Jews, Greeks, other Gentiles, etc.

Jesus was talking to Jews. Remember, Jesus fully intended for His fulfillment to apply to everyone who would accept His lordship, but it was for the apostles to take the Gospel to the Gentiles. Jesus had isolated encounters with Gentiles, yes, but His ministry was overwhelmingly focused on the Jews. Again, this was part of Him fulfilling the Law.

Paul was writing to people after the Law had been fulfilled. Jesus was talking to people before it had been fulfilled.

Because it sets a precedent for schools displaying other religious material.

It makes it impossible to tell a school they can't display a poster of the Seven Fundamental Satanic tenets, for example.

The government can't discriminate on the basis of religion. So if you allow one in, you have to allow any/all in.

Many people feel that it is better to choose none rather than any/all.

In-service is the time period of mandatory training for teachers about policy and student instruction standards before kids show up to class…

So these people are already upset and kids aren’t even in the building yet. Wait till a few try to go around the system and the school is forced to fire them.

This piece of shite needs to be thrown in prison

My niece was a beautiful girly girl in 8th grade… started noticing changes about her in 10th grade where she came out and demanded that everybody start calling her by a name she made up (a boy’s name) because she is now a TRANS - cut all of her hair off - died her hair purple - got a nose ring thing - started dressing like a gothic slob - she has turned into an entitled POS

Now, my other niece who just started the same HS went from being a princess type girly girl to now always wearing sweat pants and huge over sized hoodies (even when it’s 100 degrees outside) and has basically let herself go as far as caring about acting like an actual girl

These fricking groomers in the teaching world need to be thrown in prison

I don't even follow the Abrahamic theologies but I have to admit, the Ten Commandments are a pretty good guideline on "how to not be a piece of shite."

I'd argue it's so obvious that it doesn't need to be posted. You can reach those values better without the pedo stones
