Was on a conference call and was quizzed on whether I had received my shot yet. I hemmed and hawed and said....No I had not. I guess my goose is cooked....

I'm annoyed that so many people find it necessary to ask others about this. Why is it anyone's business?

Without getting into any personal details what sort of client was this?

My wife had a client cancel an appointment with her because she said wasn't vaccinated. (works for a Chiropractor)

This was AFTER signing a waiver of liability. She still collected the cancellation fee.

Tell them you have had a reaction to vaccines in the past and you are working on what to do with your personal physician... Or better yet, tell them vaccine status/politics is not something you discuss.
None of their fricking busi ess. Liberals have no boundaries.

You should have asked him if he had when he asked you. Then just answer his question in like kind and the conversation is over and any doubts removed.

Should have asked, “have you? Ok so if you are vaccinated why does it matter what I do?”

You should have asked (him/her) if they had anal sex today. Since we are asking questions that are none of our business.

The truthful answer is "I've been vaccinated," assuming you got your childhood MMR, or polio, or a fluvax at some point.... or "I got my shot" assuming you've ever gotten one.

The exchange went "Nice to see you, did you get your vaccine yet?"

Me:

Um er um.... no

I'm not a good liar.

She's a great gal, but kinda Jersey Shore-esque

I went on to drop my war vet card, that I've been vaccinated against several biological warfare agents. That usually shuts them up.

I've just resigned to lying about it. I'm tired of getting lectures from medical professionals.

Tell them you got it to protect yourself from all the nasty looking people around. Make it sound elitist.

Nah, no need. You've been vaccinated for something at some point. Just say "I've been vaccinated."

FOTM is, it's none of their business. If they're concerned, they should get the shots. End of discussion.
