I saw people on another thread today claiming that the polls indicate that a significant majority of Americans think the 2020 election was stolen.

I can't find any polls that say that. I can find references to Trump claiming that the polls said that, but all the citations I can find for that have been debunked.

Can anybody point me to a poll that reliably indicates that? The only poll I can find that doesn't seem to be disputed/debunked says 30%. Which is probably about the size of Trump's hardcore base.

Same.....Trump has said 82% of Americans think the election is rigged. I guess that is where that are getting this stat.

LINK

The poll says 61% of Republicans believe it was stolen. I can make the case that Republican is synonymous with American in this case, especially considering most Dems are hate-America filth.

You said in response to an exchange between to posters..." The majority of the country rightfully believes voter fraud led to a Biden win." from Jack carter " No they don not " from Leto "They absolutely do and the polls and surveys prove that. It is not even close." from you.

Should not be hard to find one...a single one. Doesnt even have to be recent.. Hell find one anytime from 2020-2024.

It also says slightly less than a third of Americans, which is what I said above. 30% is confirmed again by that link.

It matters because the original claim that I haven't been able to substantiate is that a significant majority of ALL Americans polled—regardless of party affiliation—think the election was stolen.

It doesn't look like that's true at all.

Overall, 61% of Americans say Biden did legitimately win enough votes to win the presidency, and 38% believe that he did not. Among registered voters who say they cast a ballot for Trump in 2020, 75% say they have doubts about Biden’s legitimacy.

The only ‘poll’ that cannot be manipulated is in the turnout numbers of the Candidates personal appearances. Not only numbers of traditional supporters but notably those of former voters who have changed in reaction to the policy consequences of said Candidates. The polls that can be manipulated are like the ballots that are not verified, likely fraudulent as a matter of strategy to win via deception. Lies are the first step on to the road to perdition and the reason wars determine power struggles as opposed to dialogue (honest version).

Thinking its somewhat likely (19%) that cheating effected the outcome is not the same as thinking "The majority of the country rightfully believes voter fraud led to a Biden win."
