There's a rumor of 350k cancelations, but there's no real way to know.
Disney's 2022 2nd Quarter numbers will be interesting.
disney+ and espn+ are $8 and $7 monthly. even if the 350k "rumor" is true, that 5 and a quarter million bucks. disney won't even notice
You're missing the point. It will be noticed because it will show up so quickly. It portends declining park attendance, lower box office, etc., but those items will take a long time to materialize on a balance sheet.
Cancelling a monthly billed service (or one that is prepaid before the term has expired) is a shot across the bow. Everyone should do it.

Other than Bengals (Burrow), don't watch NFL.

Canceled my whole Hulu bundle this morning because they wouldn't allow me to just drop Disney/ESPN. I'll be going back to Sling when the billing cycle ends.
It pisses me off. I liked Hulu+Live, but I stream BECAUSE it give me options. I don't need my streaming service restricting those options. And I refuse to give Disney another dime.

I don't care if they don't notice. They aren't getting MY money. That's all that matters to me.

We have Verizon as our carrier, I’ve been traveling a lot to Puerto Rico where wifi sucks arse (ok, where I typically stay at). I’ll be here for a month….so told the wife to bump me up to unlimited because I’m going thru our monthly data like a hit knife thru butter….
So wife comes back and tells me that if we change our plan to unlimited we get Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney “free” for life (or when we end our contract duh)
My answer to her was…..cancel our account and switch us to T-Mobil!!
Not the answer she was expecting lol

This is the way to think about this.

I'm about to have to add ESPN back for the NBA playoffs and NFL draft

I actually had to go to the FAQs on the ESPN App.

Cancelled Disney+ back when then Gina Carano bs happened. Unfortunately ESPN+ has a stranglehold on my sports entertainment. I used to watch ESPN all day every day but now I only tune in for live sports.

ESPN+
Unless you were a huge fan of some tiny school I don't know why anyone would want this. It's garbage tier content. Not sure why anyone would want Disney+ either for that matter. Buy the original trilogy of Star Wars and you have their best content available for all time. Make sure to get it at a used DVD shop so you don't directly give them any money.
Get the Sopranos and the first 4 seasons of GoT and you can cancel HBO max too. There you go. You now have the over 100 hours of the best media ever made and don't need to ever pay for any of it again save live sports (which you can get plenty of for free on local channels or radio). Don't buy any of the advertised products on the sports broadcasts if possible. Send an email to the companies telling them why (don't curse or berate the poor bastards or AI that have to read them).
If you have watched all of it you need to go outside and work in your yard or associate with people and improve your life prospects. You have now cut your corporate media support massively while improving yourself.
You're welcome.

Yes. I can say with 100% certainty that my kids were not taught about oral sex in 2nd grade.

Did you want it to be legal for them to be?
Because that is what the issue is here

Of course not. But I have a very hard time believing 2nd grade in Florida is so much different than my kids school in Oklahoma Is it a chapter from their social studies book? How is it being taught?
