Pureblood checking in...told a few family members when this first became a thing that I'd be the last a-hole on the planet standing and would be strapped and forced to get the vaccine. They all chuckled and said well guess you won't be allowed to travel on family vacay overseas. Told them have a nice fricking trip. They all now regret their decision of getting it, but it's been fun to throw shite back across the fence in this case.
Job luckily hasn't forced it yet. My company's based in western Canada (bunch of good "rednecks" luckily), but I have a multi-million $$$$ project on the line that will ultimately require my presence there. Still have to be vaxxed to cross border, and I've given them fair warning of my position on the issue. I'd hate to see it come down to this stupid shite, but I refuse to relent, especially now that the hoax has been exposed. Would suck to lose my job, but whatever happens was meant to be.

The worst are the HR dickheads that mindlessly parrot the bullshite. Lots of companies in my industry that endorsed free thought adopted the vax requirement way quicker than I would have imagined. At one point in time I suspected there were some form of tax relief or benefits the way they pushed this. Luckily my company never issued the ultimatum though for a period I had to visit client offices and mask up the whole time because I didn’t have a vax card. A nice shaming.
I have been informally offered a promotion that would be a great move for my career. The post requires a fair amount of international travel. The manager told me the job was mine if I wanted it. I will be informing him of my vax status in the next week or so and I’m confident it’ll cost me the spot.

It was obvious from the beginning of the vaccine mandate that this was a political power-play since multiple groups including US Postal Service, many llabor unions and congressmen/women were not required to take the vaccine

I was reproached at a family get together recently for using the term pureblood. one of the "conservatives" in my family got overly offended over the use. of course I was being facetious, so were the rest of the guys having a laugh about it.
these tools were the same ones treating people who didn't get the poke like subhuman/2nd class citizens. don't know why they get so indignant over not being purebloods.

I work for a good company, despite HQ in CA. We have a lot of government contractors, so they made a blanket policy because of Biden’s mandates, originally. Thank you SCOTUS. New CEO we can tell hates the status quo but waiting on other Silicon Valley execs to budge. He knows it’s BS though.
Funniest thing. Internal meeting in CA earlier this year. Only vaxxed could come. Over 1000 attended. Over 400 got Covid at the event. Womp womp.
