You’re going to have to hang around the drug store more and pick up the lingo better. Good luck.

Covid test and flu test aren’t the same.
You don’t have to believe it, but they aren’t

Or maybe our modeling of the flu sucks.

Speaking of the Wu flu test is that test still inaccurate?

You said flu didn’t leave. Seems pretty clear what you are implying. If not, what do you mean that flu didn’t leave

Reminds me, weird story I heard at lunch.
Nursing home in the area was doing fine with no Covid cases. The state sent someone to test the residents. All tests came back negative but old folks started dropping dead two days later.
Almost as if the test kits or the tester themself was contaminated.

Where do you think the flu went?

The flu is still here. Last year at one time they were even acting like heart disease deaths had left Louisiana. I swear.

There is tons of data that is pumped out all of the time regarding age, obesity, number of cases, hospitalizations, deaths etc.
You claim it is all bullshite anyway so I don’t know why you even bother. You aren’t getting vaccinated regardless
Actually, there isn't "tons of data" out of the LA dept of health.
I want to know
1) Comorbidities
2) Demographics
3) Vaccination status
4) If unvaccinated, have they had Covid before or is this first time
5) Death rates for this "new" delta variant
These are just some basic things that we should easily know, yet we aren't given any of this. Why?

I asked you first...haha
I was just getting at the issue that Covid isn’t flu.....which is repeated ad nauseum

That is the one that nobody is going to want to address, if we get data... my guess.

as of yesterday they have 48 Covid patients at the BR General.
OMG 48??
How many died?
How many came in for something else and they tested them for covid and got a positive test, but the person ahs no covid symptoms?

I never implied that covid is the flu, and nobody thinks that the covid is the flu. The flu won't be back as it never left.

What i find interesting, is that i personally know not 1 single person who currently has covid, and i know a bunch of people. So 98% of admissions very well may be unvaccinated, but that amount could be 4 people. It's not like BR General has 150 ICU beds.
Statistics are interesting, when you don't have the numbers.
Anecdotally, I only know two people that have gotten COVID recently, and they were both vaccinated.
