Public Official Surety Bond

Is this the recourse we the people have to reign in our elected officials from believing they have been given authoritarian powers?
Apparently people are having some success filing surety bond claims against school boards with the school board attorney's recommending the school board agree to the corrective actions.

A Public Official Bond is a type of surety bond that serves as a statutory obligation requiring faithful performance, fidelity, and integrity of a public official’s duties to the public.
The bond requires public officers and secondary obligors to pay a fixed amount if they do not faithfully perform their duties in the office. Like all surety bonds, this bond consists of a three-party agreement:
Principal – Public official
Obligee – Government or public being served by the official
Surety – Bonding company that underwrites the bond and is the secondary obligor
This bond is one of the oldest forms of written guarantee that requires persons to obtain to qualify for office. In 1792, Congress passed an act that the Office of the Paymaster “shall give bond in the sum of $20,000, with two sufficient sureties, for the faithful discharge of duties.”
Depending on the statutes of a specific jurisdiction, Public Official Bonds may be faithful performance bonds, fidelity bonds, public employee dishonesty bonds, or public employee blanket bonds.

Factchecker? Factcheckers are private individuals with no power other than the powers they are given by other people. Name one factchecker that has power you did not give to them.
The law and the legal system is the only arbiter of truth.

In theory yes but how's that working out for a lot of people in the US, specifically Cali & NYers

Now we are back to the topic of the post. Cali and NYer's should maybe look at the Surety Bonds strategy. For instance, in addition to filing lawsuits to fight back the citizens should file surety bond claims.
NY allowing non citizens to vote should be a valid claim for breach of fidelity.

Here's an organization that is picking up some steam...
https://bondsforthewin.com/
I have obtained my Parish school board and superintendents bonds and currently drafting an "intent to file claim" against them. I'll give them a few days to remove covid restrictions stating specific laws and after that if nothing is done, file an insurance claim against their bonds. Don't know if it is going to work, but I'm not going to sit around and do nothing...
State elected officials bonds have proven harder to obtain, even to find. It's as if these bonds have been purposefully hidden

Let me know how it works for you. I think you can get the bond information through FOIA or other gov't agencies. I saw where a School Board refused to provide the information but the person received it through the county.

Watch how fast the political class reacts to change how Surety Bonds work for government officials.
This does appear to be a really good solution to take back our government representation without having to do so through courts and recall elections.
