The Graham organization doesn't own CT. Billy started it but it is not part of their association (Decision is the name of their monthly magazine).

Franklin better fire him quick because he’s (the editor) retiring after the first of the year.

See my post just above yours, CT isn't owned by the Billy Graham organization (he started it but they've been independent for years).

Really dude.. this is the hill die on?

I have a friend that failed the second and third grade then dropped out of HS in the 10thrade. Joined the Marine Corp at 17 and got his GED.
Went to college after his service and now has a PhD. He's also the dumbest person I know. The fault with people like you - the belief that a framed piece of paper is your ticket to success and relevance. I've learned more about my vocation the first month after college than I did the 6 years of college.

Carter's administration was littered with ineptitude. His presidency, when compared to Reagan is often regarded as follows: Jimmy was a really smart man that surrounded himself with idiots so he appears to have failed - while Ronnie was an idiot that surrounded himself with smart people so he over-achieved.

Who is smarter?

Like I said, Jimmy seems like a good man of strong conviction and faith - a man that has no business in today's Democrat party, despite his blind defense of it.

Biden and his family graft their way around the world and Trump is immoral and impeached because he wanted to investigate Biden's corruption?

makes sense

After reading this article, you may have to rethink that strong conviction and faith bit. He’s just another heretical Dem like buttboy.

Yeah weird. Falwell Jr., Paula White and all of Trump's other prosperity pimps never talk about politics.

What does ANY of that have to do with his presidency?

That sort of proves my point, doesn't it?

I am a very devout Christian. I didn’t vote for Trump because of his morality and I didn’t think he would govern conservatively (I was dead wrong outside of spending). I went third party, I can’t even remember the guys name now. I can’t say I regret it since I was in a solidly red state.(flame away) But after watching the debates and the Democrats spitting on my values and wanting to trample my religious liberty I will crawl through glass on my hand and knees to vote for him in 2020. I can’t at this point see how Christians can’t realize that morals aside he is standing between us and a trampling of our religious liberties.

Odd, he is the only POTUS to bring real peace in the Middle East.

In 1948 the Arab - Israeli War commenced (Granted the Palestine War started in 1947) between...

Israel

VS

Arab League
Egypt
Trans Jordan
Iraq
Syria
Lebanon
Saudia Arabia
Yemen

This was followed by...
1950's and 1960's (more retaliatory than full blown war) involving Egypt
1956 = Suez Crisis involving Egypt
1967 = Six day War involving Egypt
1967 - 1970 = War of Attrition involving Egypt
1973 = Yom Kippur War involving Egypt

Roughly 30 years of war!

Jimmy Carter gets the combatants to the table LINK

Roughly 40 years of peace since!

I think you are the blind men and the elephant, perhaps this is the more correct statement.

Jimmy was a really smart man that surrounded himself with non insiders so he appears to have failed - while Ronnie was an idiot that surrounded himself with insiders people so he over-achieved.

My cousin was on Ronnies staff with a high position. He was an insider from birth and made policy according to his world. Tho world travelled he has confided in the past 10 years that many of the policies they enacted were wrong especially as his siblings health failed and his Wall Street firm imploded from the risk undertaken by the junior executives.

One thing he commented on was closing the long term locked mental health care facilities under his boss (Reagan) has had many consequences that resonate today including homeless issues and mental health care by police which is not only ineffective but 6x to 8x more expensive than treatment under the old system is boss eliminated.

Most do. I'm not going to outright judge progressive Christians, but needless to say I question those who use Christianity as a vehicle to oppose Trump (interestingly these folks rarely talk about Christ).

But, I think your pragmatic approach is entirely justifiable without going to the level we've seen where Trump is held up almost with Christian-leader reverence. I do not think Trump is a very good human being. He's petty and immature, obsessed with vanity and loose with the truth.

That said, if you had to be flawless to be used by God then nothing would ever get done, and that's the approach I think Christians ought to take toward Trump.

No, Bush Jr has a degree and it does not prove he is smart or capable

Bush Sr is by far the better Bush and I voted to give him a 2nd term

Please do not put words in my mouth that I do not say just so you can make something appear so that is not so.

Getting into Georgia Tech is a big deal
Getting into the USNA is a big deal

This tells me he is mentally smart

Turning around his fathers farm when called
Building affordable housing

This tell me his character is strong

Bringing lasting peace in the Middle East
Adopting alternative energy in the 1970's
Surviving the oil shocks of the early and late 70's
Establishing the "Skunk Works" - the roots of our modern military
Bailing out Chrysler (until the M1 Abrams technology could safely transfer to GD)
Signed the SALT II treaty with Russia to reduce nuclear arsenal
Left his business interests in blind trust to eliminate conflicts of interest
Created the DoE Energy Act
Got EPA to do something about Love canal
Deregulated the airlines
Allowed home brewing to return since Prohibition (and the many craft brews since)
Embraced bipartisan health care reform
Established the Department of Education
Initiated funding for the Mujahideen to fight Russia in Afghanistan

This tell me he was a successful president

Your comparisons are maladroit.

We've no evidence Jesus was particularly dark or homely, only nondescript perhaps. And he certainly wasn't a convert having been in on the whole thing from beginning.

It's been my impression that many fundamentalist Christians believe Trump is the anti-Christ and who will bring about the end times and they like him for that reason.

Probably most other Christians don't believe that. And some of them have finally been moved to action.

Oh I forgot that part in the Bible where it says “Thou must not ask Ukraine to investigate Joseph Biden”

he didnt.

The ask was to announce.
To pretend.
There was never any interest in an investigation that disproves.
