Hey Christianity Today, don't you have some lions to play with?

quote:

The evangelical magazine founded by the Rev. Billy Graham called President Trump's phone call to the Ukrainian president "profoundly immoral" and called for him to be removed from office.

Claiming they prefer "to stay above the fray and allow Christians with different political convictions to make their arguments in the public square," editor-in-chief Mark Galli asserted in a Thursday editorial that the moral turpitude of Trump requires the publication to support his removal.

Fake news.

I don’t know a single Christian that believes a Democrat controlled anything is the moral compass America needs.

When you're a dying system and need a boost, this is what you do.

This, among other reasons, is why I don't trust organized religion.

The dude is retiring on Jan 3. This is a great ploy to get his name out there to hype his blog which he will continue to write.

Follow the money.

Pathetic column.

Nothing proven immoral in that case.

There will be no room for Christianity in society if the progressive (self righteous) left takes over.

Vote for the orange bad mouthed guy that supports religious freedom and Merry Chirstmas.

Dont vote for pro abortion pro muslim anti Christian godless folks in the other party that want to redefine society to their liking.

People/organizations that move “to the other side” in an effort to appeal to a broader market are just hastening their collapse.

See the Boy Scouts.
See churches that go all out to support same sex marriage.
See the Dixie chicks comments on Bush.

Not making a comment on anyone’s belief system - just be smart and don’t dump on your audience.

If you are a serious Christian today, you need to be out of Evangelicalism, Pentecostalism, Roman Catholicism, Episcopalianism, and most of mainline Protestantism.

The safe harbors are Orthodoxy, WELS, and the LCMS.

I do not care one bit about his moral compass. I really care what he does re my wallet, my freedom and my country. He satisfies all 3 of my priorities so what they think means nothing to me. That’s why we have church and state separation.

Leftists think because they infiltrate something that one nutjob TDS infused opinion is somehow more significant than another.

He hasn't done anything "profoundly immoral". That is just another kook.

I thought the Bible demanded two or three witnesses for guilt. The dems couldn’t produce a single one.

No.

You could make a case for being an IFB.

Not to hijack the thread but... if I'm a Southern Baptist, I cannot be a Christian?

Is that your stance?

Because Trump isn't surrounded by dispensationalist evangelicals who want us at war in the Middle East in hopes that the Rapture occurs. His natural opposition to war gives him numerous enemies.
