No I’m not trolling you. I’m actually laughing at you. Carter is an idiot whose true calling was building houses. Idiots like you elected this buffoon because you bought into the whole virtue signaling of moving past WaterGate.

You do realize I campaigned for Nixon, Goldwater, and Ike

My family knew the Fords but I was an engineer back then and I understood where Carter was going on energy independence. That and he was a Navy guy flipped me from Ford to Carter because Carter was the military guy who understood the way to beat the Commies was tech. While Ronnie was not the sharpest tool in the shed (cancelling alternative energy research) he as least was not dumb enough to cancel the Skunk Works that Carter got going.

Fan of George Sr and Dole, not a fan of Bush Jr or Trump.

Couldn't be a more apt name for the magazine if these are their views.

What in the world could he be thinking. Of course, it makes more sense to want those who back abortion, hate Christianity, and who want socialism to be in charge, as a Christian, right?

I legit had never heard of Christianity Today before this story broke. Nor do I know of anyone who reads it, and I run in some very religious circles

Wait, you’re not trying to say that Carter is the one that started Skunk Works, are you?

After all the hoopla, the editor is doubling down on his original op-ed:

OK I'll give him credit for standing up for himself.

Meanwhile 200 prominent evangelical leaders (including TD's unofficial pastor Jack Graham) signed a letter denouncing the original post:

The pure fact that this clown is commenting on trump tells you all you need to know about him. Don’t let this idiot stand for Christians everywhere. (Hint - we don’t believe what he is saying)

Reading his comments now on Fox News that he’s making a “moral judgement on the president” - nowhere in the Bible or the world of Christianity is it his job to make a moral judgment of a president. Dude can go suck an egg

Yes, I know but it is what it is and I was never afraid to be unpopular.

I was serious about my cousin working for him. Ronnie is living proof charisma (good or bad) and looks will beat content from most people. In the Kennedy vs Nixon debate, Nixon did better if you only heard audio but Kennedy did better if you had a picture to go with it. I have mad respect for Nixon's diplomacy with Russia and China and can forgive him the paranoia that cost him his job.

Uh , H.W. was VP for eight years , he knew what was going on.

He knew he was going to raise taxes , he lied to get elected.
